MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR Now in its seventh year, Cork County Culture Night is well established as an enjoyable annual celebration of culture, creativity and the arts. As Mayor of the County of Cork, I would like to thank all of the organisations, artists and venues who give their time and energy to organise free, exciting events for their communities to enjoy on Culture Night. Culture Night only comes around once a year and it is a great opportunity for all the family to experience some of the county’s wonderful cultural offerings. I would encourage everyone to come along on Friday 22nd September to Explore, Experience and Enjoy all the county has to offer. Is í seo an seachtú bliain do Oíche Chultúir Chontae Chorcaí . Tá sé bunaithe go maith mar cheiliúradh bhliantúil taitneamhach de chultúir, cruthaitheachta agus na n-ealaíon. Mar Mhéara ar Chontae Chorcaí, ba mhaith liom buíochas a ghabháil le gach ceann de na n-eagraíochtaí, ealaíontóirí agus na ionaid a thugann a gcuid ama agus fuinnimh, saor in aisce, chun na imeachtaí spreagúil a eagrú chun go mbeadh an bpobal in ann taitneamh a bhaint as Oíche Chultúir. Thárlaíonn Oíche Chultúir ach uair amháin sa bhliain agus is deis iontach é don chlann go léir chun taithí a fháil i roinnt de na tairiscintí cultúrtha iontach atá san chontae. Ba mhaith liom gach duine a spreagadh chun teacht linn ar Dé hAoine, an 22ú Meán Fómhair chun taiscéal a dhéanamh agus taithí agus sult a bhaint as gach rud atá a thairiscint ag an Chontae. Cllr.
