Our Objectives ➝ Inclusiveness: students feel welcome and receive the support that they need for academic success and personal development ➝ Opportunity: students have the opportunity to use French inside and outside of the classroom in order to attain a high degree of proficiency ➝ Culture: students have access to authentic French linguistic and cultural experiences 3

What Is the DELF? ● An official diploma offered by the National Ministry of Education of France that is recognized around the world; ● An evaluation of second-language proficiency which certifies the ability of students to use French in real-life situations based on the six competence levels identified within the Common Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR); ● There are two DELF evaluation sessions per year in November and in April.

BC-Quebec Exchange ▪ Host a student from Quebec for three months from September to December. ▪ Live in Quebec with the same student’s family from February to April. ▪ Apply in grade 9 or 10 to go the following year. ▪ All travel cost are covered ▪ To apply, contact Yvonne Fiala before February 15, 2023. ▪ Click here for more information 13
France Exchange ▪ Education Abroad ▪ Host a student from France or Belgium for three months from September to December (10-11 weeks). ▪ Live in France with the same student’s family from February to April (10-11 weeks). ▪ Apply in grade 9 or 10 to go the following year. ▪ $ 4 955 ▪ Contact Yvonne Fiala for more information. 14
