Project Purpose To improve traffic operations and safety at the intersection of Fox Mill Road and Pinecrest Road Summary of Crashes (2013 – 2020) Crash Type Injury Severity Rear End: 13 Fatal: 0 Angle: 33 Severe: 2 Legend Fatal Injury Sideswipe: 3 Minor Injury: 8 Severe Injury Other: 1 Nonvisible: 6 Minor Injury Fixed Object: 3 Prop Damage: 37 Nonvisible Total Crashes = 53 Property Damage 4
Project Actions to Date 2015 – Installed interim intersection improvements 2020 – Completed preliminary signal design 2018 – Evaluated multi-way stop and determined it to be infeasible due to extensive queuing 5
