Collegio Universitario di Torino “Renato Einaudi” (henceforth Collegio Einaudi), as a merit-based University College legally recognised by Ministero dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca1 (MIUR), and non-profit and non-commercial organisation, announces a call for confirmation for the academic year 2018/2019 related to the period between September 2nd, 2018 and July 31st, 2019 excluded during the Christmas holidays between December 23rd, 2018 and January 5th, 2019 Ch. 1 - ADDRESSEES This Call for confirmation is reserverd to those students who have already benefited from an accom- APPLICATION SECTION modation in Collegio Einaudi during the academic year 2017/2018. Those who want to apply for the confirmation must send a request, as described in this Call, apart from those students who have been staying at Collegio Einaudi due to particular agreements between Collegio Einaudi and Scuola di Studi Superiori “Ferdinando Rossi” (SSST) of University of Turin or Colle- gio Carlo Alberto (CCA); these students will be confirmed directly by the SSST and CCA on the basis of their selection criteria. Ch. 2 - REQUIREMENTS Accommodation benefits will be confirmed for the academic year 2018/2019 by those students who possess the following requirements: 1 Personal Formative Program (PFP) according to the Italian law (D.M. 673 – 08/09/2016), students shall have completed the minimum number of hours requested and, if available, filled in the assessment questionnaires, as stated in the PFP: Students Regulation published on the Intranet section of the official website. 2 Enrolment at university courses and/or similar ones for the academic year 2018/2019: Students who are going to enrol at a second or subsequent years and who are going to apply as full-time students for the next year. Students who are getting a Bachelor’s degree, enrolled at an undergraduate university course, since the academic year 2015/16, must graduate at most within July 2019. Academic requirements for the next year’s confirmation are to be found in the attached Credits Tables and they may vary due to the graduation date. Those students have to be enrolled for the academic year 2018/19 as full time students. Students who have obtained a Bachelor’s degree and who are going to enrol as full-time students at a MA degree course or a Specializing Master degree course (1st level); in the latter case, students must fulfil the same requirements of MA students. Students who are going to obtain a Master’s degree willing to stay at Collegio Einaudi even though they have already finished their standard course duration, will be able to confirm the accommodation benefit for at best one year. Students have to notify the date when the degree has been obtained: if it is within December 2018, they will be able to stay at Collegio Einaudi until Christmas holidays; if it is after January 1st, 2019, they will be able to stay at Collegio Einaudi until summer holidays. These students may be enrolled as part-time students; however, they have to fulfil the requirements described below. 1 Ministero dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca is the equivalent of the Department for Education in UK, responsible for education, children’s services, higher and further education policy, 3 apprenticeships and wider skills.
3 Academic requirements: students must have obtained by July 31st, 2018 the required number of credits with a weighted ave- rage of at least 24/30, as described in the attached Credits Table. The weighted average can not be rounded off: if it is not at least 24/30 students can not apply for this Call. If the number of the credits exceeds the minimum number required, the average calculation ATTENTION! will be done considering the exams corresponding to the required number of credits for which the student has obtained the highest mark. The credits obtained for the language proficiency tests marked in the transcript of re- cords as “passed” are not considered for the number of credits calculation for the con- firmation. In case of other exams marked as “passed” in the transcript of records, they will be conventionally evaluated with a 25/30 mark. Credits corresponding to one single APPLICATION SECTION specific part of an exam earned by the student but not already officially registered can be considered in the number of credits calculation. In this case, students must provide a decla- ration signed by the professor and reporting the date, the mark and the number of credits of that part of the exam. This declaration must be uploaded to the cloud by July 31st, 2018. 4 Students must not have incurred in disciplinary measures as stated in the Students’ Regulation. 5 Primary physician care in Turin Students must declare to have chosen a primary physician care in Turin by July, 6th 2018, as required by Art. 18 of the Students’ Regulation. 6 Unpaid fees Students must not have unpaid fees. Requirements relating to points from 1) to 6) must be possessed even by: those students who will take part, during the academic year 2018/2019, in an international or national mobility program. those students who have taken part, during the academic year 2017/2018, in an international or national mobility program. PARTICULAR CASES Post-graduate students enrolled at PhD programs, 2nd level specializing master courses, post-graduate schools and specialization courses, will have to notify the prosecution of their cour- se during the academic year 2018/2019 mainly in Turin. Students involved in: • Double-degree programs • 1st level specializing master courses with a peculiar study plan in order to confirm the accommodation, may ask the Administration for a specific analysis of their situation, to be discussed during the first reunion of the Executive Board. Students willing to apply for confirmation for the academic year 2018/2019 who have taken part in mobility programs and who have not obtained the recognition of credits yet will have to: 4
• Apply for this confirmation call; • Upload to the cloud: A Transcript of records issued by the receiving University; The Learning Agreement approved by both sending and receiving universities; A self-declaration stating the possession of credits required by this call. An exam “Erasmus”, with the amount of credits necessary for the confirmation procedure, will be uploaded to the intranet profile of the student. These students will have to upload to the cloud a self-declaration stating the recognition of credits by the home University by September 25th, 2018. Ch. 3 - HOW TO APPLY AND REQUIRED DOCUMENTS The application must be completed by APPLICATION SECTION July 6th, 2018 through the Intranet system (available here: www.collegioeinaudi.it ), clicking on “Partecipa al bando”; all the personal data on the intranet profile must be updated. In order to apply for this Call, students have to: Add on their personal profile on the intranet system the exams completed by July 6th, 2018 If other exams have been done after that deadline, they must be added by July 31st, 2018; exams regi- stered after July 31st will not be considered for the confirmation. Students who have been staying at Collegio Einaudi due to particular agreements between Collegio Einaudi and other institutions, as described in the “Other Agreements and Post-De- gree students”, do not have to fill the exams on their personal profiles on the intranet system. Upload their Personal Formative Program (PFP) to the dedicated web platform as required by the “PFP: Students Regulation” Upload to the cloud the following documents by July 6th, 2018: official transcript of records issued by the university or a self-declaration stating all the exams completed by July 6th, 2018. Postgraduate students do not have to provide this document. a self-declaration stating the name of primary physician care chosen in Turin (form available here). Students who have stayed less than 6 months at Collegio Einaudi or have been excep- ted by the Administration because of particular health conditions do not have to provi- de that self-declaration. ISEE certification2 issued in 2018 and a self-declaration (available here) reporting the offi- cial residence and the household status of the last 5 years. Postgraduate students do not have to provide the ISEE certification; students of ex- tra-EU nationality whose families reside in an extra-EU country can confirm the ISEE certification provided for the academic year 2017/2018, issued in 2017. Students in the VII tax threshold do not have to provide the ISEE certification. 5 2 The ISEE certification is an official document provided for by Italian law in which it is described the financial and property situations of a family. The Italian Institution in charge of this kind of document is the INPS Institute.
ONLY POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS have to upload prosecution of the post-degree course for the academic year 2018/2019 mainly in a higher education institution here in Turin. Students have to fill in the following form (available here: https://goo.gl/forms/loHl8drZ2RLdUhrt2) if: They want to change their Residence Hall 1/3 of the available rooms for each Residence Hall will be reserved for those ones who want to change their Residence Hall. A waiting list may be prepared according to the distance between the Residence Hall students are asking for and their university and academic merits. APPLICATION SECTION They are going to participate in an exchange or international program for the academic year 2018/2019 they will have to provide further documents, as described in section 9 (Participation in national and international mobility programs for the academic year 2018/2019). They want to ask for a rebate on the annual fee ( Art. 7 of this call). WITHDRAWAL OF THE APPLICATION If students want to withdraw their application, they have to send an email to concorsi@collegioeinaudi.it by July 31st, 2018 and fill in the form related to the deposit, as described in art. 7 of this Call. Withdrawal communications received after July 31st, 2018 will incur in the losing of the deposit. Ch. 4 - OUTCOMES Students will find the outcomes of their application on the intranet system, in the section “stato confer- ma”, by August 7th, 2018. 6
Ch. 5 - HOUSING AGREEMENT The legal relationship between Collegio Einaudi and the students is regulated by a Housing Agreement, according to the Italian law (D.L. 68/2012, art. 12 co. 5). Each student will receive a copy of the Housing Agreement via e-mail upon the publication of the outcomes of this Call. The Housing Agreement must be signed by each student and uploaded to the cloud by August 18th, 2018. Ch. 6 - PERSONAL FORMATIVE PROGRAM AND “DIPLOMA DI COLLEGIO”3 CONFIRMATION SECTION Each student of Collegio Einaudi must sign a Personal Formative Program (henceforth “PFP”), along with the Housing Agreement, for each year spent in Collegio Einaudi, as required by the Italian law (D.M. 673/2016). If a student is attending the 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of university studies, he/she will have to attend 70 hours of formative activities per academic year if a student is attending the 4th or higher academic years, he/she will have to attend 25 hours of formative activities per academic year Students will be able to choose their personal activities among all presented in the Formative Program. A personal mentor may also be chosen. For further information regarding PFP and the Diploma di Collegio see the “PFP: Students Regulation” on the official website. If students do not complete their PFP and do not fill the final Assessment Questionnaire, they will not be able to apply for the Call for confirmation of the next academic year: the confirmation of the accommodation is strictly related to the realisation of the PFP. Ch. 7 - TAX THRESHOLDS AND FEES Students who are going to apply for this Call must upload to the cloud their ISEE certification issued in 2018 and a self-declaration reporting their residence and household status (template available here). • Students whose corresponding threshold is the 7th one do not have to provide the ISEE declaration; • Students of extra-EU nationality whose families reside in an extra-EU country can confirm the ISEE certification provided for the academic year 2017/2018, issued in 2017. INPS Institute4 may calculate an “ISEE corrente” for students who have experienced financial problems; these students may send a request to the Administration in order to analyse their situation; only in the- se cases, it will be possible to update the ISEE declaration provided to Collegio within the confirmation application. Each student must pay an annual fee due to his/her own ISEE certification, as follows: 3 The “Diploma di Collegio” is a certification provided by Collegio Einaudi in which all the formative activities attended by the students at Collegio Einaudi are described, according to the Italian law (DM 672 e 673 dell’8/09/2016). Students must be aware that Collegio Einaudi: • (even by means of other Institutions) will legally check if all the statements they have declared are true. • The application for this Call implicitly authorizes Collegio Einaudi to verify all the documents related to the applicant and his/her family. • False declarations will be reported to Authorities and punished according to Italian law. Increased tax threshold Before the publication of the confirmation outcomes, Collegio Einaudi will update students’ tax thre- shold according to the ISEE certification provided. If students do not provide the ISEE certification, by the established deadline, they will automatically be placed in the 7th tax threshold. Students who have enrolled for the 7th time in the academic year 2018/2019 may not provide the ISEE certification and they will be placed in the tax thresholds as follows: if in the academic year 2017/2018 they are placed in a tax threshold between the 1st one and the 6th one, they will be placed in the 6th tax threshold for the next academic year; if in the academic year 2017/2018 they are placed in 7th tax threshold, their tax threshold will not change. 8

Where a student, whose siblings are already guests of Collegio Einaudi, is awarded with an accommo- dation benefit during the academic year 2018/19, the 10% rebate on the fee (of the student who has confirmed the accommodation) will be applied as follows: • on all the instalments, in case of award to siblings within October 2018; • on the 2nd and 3rd instalments, in case of award within February 2019; • on the 3rd instalment only, in case of award after February 2019. ARREARS FOR LATE PAYMENT Non-payment of the 1st instalment within the above mentioned deadline will result in rejecting the award and losing the deposit. In case of late payment of the 2nd and 3rd instalments (or of a share part of them), arrears will be ap- plied as follows: € 10 € 25 € 50 Delay ≤ 3 Delay ≤ 10 Delay > 10 calendar days calendar days calendar days Arrears could be paid by bank transfer or in cash; in the latter case, an appointment has to be schedu- led by sending an e-mail to concorsi@collegioeinaudi.it. In case of non-payment of the arrears, Collegio Einaudi will have recourse to the student’s deposit. The amounts received as arrears during the academic year 2018/19 will be used to finance scholar- ships and/or educational activities for Collegio’s students during the year 2019. 9
REFUNDS No refund of fees, whether partial or total, will be due in case of routine or unscheduled maintenance in the residence halls. Students wishing to leave Collegio Einaudi before Christmas holidays or before the payment of the 3rd instalment have to notify it as scheduled: • By December 1st, 2018, for those students leaving Collegio Einaudi within Christmas holidays. • By February 15th, 2019, for those students leaving Collegio Einaudi by April 5th, due date to pay the 3rd instalment Those who will not meet these deadlines will be fined with a penalty amounting to the deposit. The deposit and fee refund5 (if applicable) is due within the end of the month following the refund application (available here: https://goo.gl/forms/1I023QXMtcHLdiJG2). In case of international transfers for the refund, the student will be charged with additional fees (applied by the respective bank). 5 “Fee refund” refers to a part of the annual fee. 10
Ch. 8 - ACCEPTANCE OF THE ACCOMMODATION AND DOCUMENTATION TO BE SENT Students confirming the accommodation will receive an e-mail with a copy of the Housing Agreement for the academic year 2018/2019 which has to be signed and uploaded to the cloud (deadline below). In order to finalise the confirmation procedure and not to lose the accommodation benefit, students have to: BY AUGUST 18TH, 2018 Pay the 1st instalment of the fee; CONFIRMATION SECTION Print their own PFP (Personal Formative Program) from the web platform (Attachment A to the Housing Agreement). Upload to the cloud both the signed Housing Agreement and the Attachment A (PFP). BY SEPTEMBER 25TH, 2018 Upload to the cloud: a self-declaration stating that the students is not carrying infectious diseases which may jeopar- dize living in community (template available here). a transcript of records, or a self-certification signed by the student, certificating the exams com- pleted by July 31st, 2018, if the certificate attached to the application were not to list all the exams completed to that date. BY OCTOBER 1ST, 2018 Collect all their belongings from the dedicated places so as to make them available for the Collegio’s activities. BY NOVEMBER 15TH, 2018 Upload to the cloud: a certificate, or a self-certification signed by the student, stating the university enrolment for the academic year 2018/2019. Students who are not required by their University to enrol for the academic year 2018/2019 be- cause they are next to graduate, have to notify this by uploading a self-certification, undertaking to provide the enrolment certificate in case of non-graduation. DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2018/19 Students who obtain the Bachelor’s Degree are required to send the relevant degree certificate to concorsi@collegioeinaudi.it, a transcript of record with all the exams completed and the enrol- ment certificate/self-declaration at the Master’s Degree within 30 days. Students who obtain the Master’s degree are required to fill in this form (https://goo.gl/forms/0L- 322tP9ORXhUuqD3) within 30 days and send the relevant degree certificate to concorsi@col- 11
legioeinaudi.it, along with a transcript of records of all the exams completed. Collegio Einaudi may request, at its discretion and at any time, the original hard-copies. Students who are getting their Bachelor’s Degree during the academic year 2018/2019, willing not to start a Master’s Degree, have to leave Collegio Einaudi by the due date of payment of the instal- ment following the award of the degree. MOBILITY AND ABSENCES FROM COLLEGIO Those who are not able, due to University regulation, to start a Master’s Degree after the award of the Bachelor’s, can stay in the residence hall for the remainder of the academic year, undertaking to start the Master’s Degree in September 2019; if not so, the student will not receive the deposit back. Ch. 9 - PARTICIPATION IN NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY PROGRAMS DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2018/19 Students participating in national and international mobility programs during the academic year 2017/2018 will be able to confirm the accommodation by requesting a temporary suspension for the study period abroad. Those students have to fill in the application (available here: https://goo.gl/forms/ sfEsK1jXSl7DokLj2) to communicate their participation in the mobility program: by the Call for Confirmation deadline, if the sending or receiving University has confirmed the participation; upon the confirmation of the participation by the institutions above. In order not to lose the accommodation benefit, students participating in mobility programs for more than two months have to leave their rooms. Those students participating in mobility programs who do not request a temporary suspension for the study period abroad may not confirm the accommodation benefit for the following academic year. Moreover, students requesting a temporary suspension have to upload to the cloud a certificate stating the participation in the mobility programs (issued by the sending University as a confirmation of the mobility program during the academic year 2018/2019; where the certificate lack information about the period of mobility, students have to upload a self-certification with date of the start and the end of the program) by the deadlines mentioned above. 12

Should the students send the communication before the payment of the instalment (to be refunded at a later stage) they will be asked to pay the instalment net of the planned refund. Students wishing to leave Collegio Einaudi for a temporary suspension before Christmas holidays or before the payment of the 3rd instalment have to notify it as scheduled: By December 1st, 2018 for those students leaving Collegio Einaudi within Christmas holidays. By February 15th, 2019: for those students leaving Collegio Einaudi by April 5th, due date to pay the 3rd instalment. Those who will not meet these deadlines will be fined with a penalty amounting to the deposit. DEPOT DURING THE TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF THE ACCOMMODATION Students involved in mobility programs during the academic year 2018/2019, upon the confirmation of the temporary suspension, will be able to use a dedicated depot at the residence hall MOLE AN- TONELLIANA (Via delle Rosine 3, Turin) to leave their personal belongings in closed boxes with their names on them. Students are allowed to leave the boxes in the depot mentioned above one month before the start of the mobility program: however, if the study period starts in September, students are allowed to leave them upon the publication of this call. Students are allowed to leave six boxes at most per each student, subject to the availability of space in the depot. Students interested in this service offered by Collegio Einaudi have to fill in the application form (avai- lable here: https://goo.gl/forms/3VTtgUbUGT2v6baF3): the requests will be processed in their order of receipt and the Administration will confirm the availability of space in the depot. Students will be able to deliver and collect their boxes with the following schedule (no deliver and 13
collection on holidays or bank holidays): • from Monday to Friday, from 7am to 9pm • on Saturday from 7am to 12am. Each box must not weigh more than 25 kilos and must comply with the following dimensions: depth 55 cm width 40 cm height 40 cm MOBILITY AND ABSENCES FROM COLLEGIO Those boxes not complying with the dimensions mentioned above will not be left in the depot. Each box must: have a label with name, surname, residence hall, room number and sequence number (i.e. Mario Rossi, PO, 547, n° 1/5); be closed with duct tape; be left on the shelves of the depot so as not to provoke falls from the shelves themselves. Should an accidental fall of one box cause damage to people or things, the owner of the box will be responsible for it. It is forbidden to leave: • Flammable material (for instance lighters, fuel products, varnishes, matches, components of vehi- cles that have contained fuel products); • Food/perishables; • Toxic chemicals (for instance insecticides and pesticides); • Compressed gases (for instance butane, propane, oxygen and diving cylinders); The Collegio accepts no responsibility whatsoever with regard to conservation and storage of the boxes. Students wishing to collect their boxes have to agree on a common date with the receptionist of the residence hall MOLE ANTONELLIANA: • By the end of the month following the end of the mobility period; • In case of waiver of the accommodation, within 15 days from the waiver. Upon expiry of that period, Collegio Einaudi will clear the depot, by debiting the student with a cost of 50€ + 1,20€/kilo per each box. The receptionists of the residence hall MOLE ANTONELLIANA, keepers of the keys of the depot, have to notify in a register name and surname of the student, number of boxes left, date and time of deliver, date and time of collection; students have to sign the register. 14
STUDENTS RETURNING FROM NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY PROGRAMS Re-entry for the academic year 2019/2020 Students confirming the accommodation benefit for the academic year 2018/2019 who: have obtained a temporary suspension for a study period abroad for the whole academic year, MOBILITY AND ABSENCES FROM COLLEGIO have passed up the opportunity to return to the Collegio during the academic year 2018/2019, have not obtained the accommodation after their re-entry during the academic year 2018/2019 will be able to fill in the application of confirmation for the academic year 2019/2020 in accordance with the conditions laid down in that call. Re-entry during the academic year 2018/2019 Students involved in mobility programs abroad, whose study period is due to finish before the end of the academic year, willing to return to the Collegio, will be able to apply for a room within two different periods (henceforth brackets) of re-entry described below. A ranking list of the re-entry applications received will be established, according to the following cri- teria: 1. Number of years spent at Collegio Einaudi 2. In the event of a tie, by the number of University years 3. In the event of further tie, by the lower ISEE value 4. In the event of further tie, by the drawing of lots. Students returning from mobility programs will be given a room in the same residence hall they were assigned to before the temporary suspension, subject to the availability of the residence hall itself. Should no place be available in that residence hall, students will be assigned to one of the remaining residence halls. Re-entry from mobility period will be run in the following ways: 1st BRACKET: Students involved in mobility programs abroad, whose study period is due to finish by March 1st, 2019, will be able to apply for a room during this bracket. How to apply: Those students who have obtained a temporary suspension have to fill in the application form (available here: https://goo.gl/forms/o6z4BEMqAUgGG1zK2) Ranking and room award: Should the number of applications be higher than the available rooms, Collegio Einaudi will establish a ranking of the re-entry applications according to the criteria described above; with regard to this ranking, Collegio Einaudi will therefore assign the rooms available to the students within Christmas holidays, once all the renouncement and leaving procedure have been ela- borated. Around 75% of the rooms left before Christmas holidays will be reserved to students returning from mobility programs, except for the rooms reserved to particular agreements for the second semester. Students obtaining a room within the 1st bracket will have to pay the whole 2nd instalment, no matter what the date of their re-entry is (at most March 1st, 2019). Those students who will not 15
be able to return to Collegio Einaudi due to unavailability of rooms, will be listed in the ranking for the 2nd bracket. 2nd BRACKET: Students involved in mobility programs abroad, whose study period is due to finish by May 29th, 2019, will be able to apply for a room during this bracket. How to apply: MOBILITY AND ABSENCES FROM COLLEGIO Those students who have obtained a temporary suspension have to fill in the application form (available here: https://goo.gl/forms/o6z4BEMqAUgGG1zK2) by February 15th, 2019 to ask for re-entry within this bracket, by confirming or updating the end date of the study period abroad. Ranking and room award: Should the number of applications be higher than the available rooms, Collegio Einaudi will establish a ranking of the re-entry applications according to the criteria described above, inclu- ding those students who have not been able to return to Collegio EInaudi due to unavailability of rooms; according to this ranking, Collegio Einaudi will therefore assign the rooms available to the students within the payment of the 3rd instalment, once all the renouncement and leaving pro- cedure have been elaborated. Around 75% of the rooms left after the payment of the 3rd will be reserved to students returning from mobility programs. Students obtaining a room within the 2nd bracket will have to pay 4 monthly instalments, no matter what their date of re-entry is (at most May 29th, 2019). Collegio Einaudi will not provide students whose study period abroad ends after May 29th 2019 willing to return to Collegio Einaudi in June and July with a specific bracket; however, should some rooms be available, Collegio Einaudi will accept further applications of re-entry (available here: https:// goo.gl/forms/o6z4BEMqAUgGG1zK2)for the months of June and July: a ranking will be established in the order of their receipt only if the ranking of the 2nd bracket is empty. Ch. 10 - CONTINUED ABSENCES All the students who will be absent from Collegio Einaudi for a period longer than two months for reasons other than mobility programs will have to notify it by sending an e-mail to concorsi@collegio- einaudi.it, specifying the period of absence and the reason why. In these cases, students may receive the same treatment as those students involved in mobility programs. 16
Ch. 11 -INPS BENEFIT FOR SONS OR ORPHANS OF EMPLOYEES AND RETIREES OF THE PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION On the basis of an agreement between the Inps and the Conferenza dei Collegi Universitari di Meri- to (CCUM), www.collegiuniversitari.it/it/index.aspx and on a national call published by the Inps itself AGREEMENTS AND POST-GRADUATE STUDENTS (available on the website www.inps.it after its publication), accommodation benefits will be reserved to those students sons or orphans of employees or retirees of the Public Administration. Those students guests of the Collegio Einaudi for the academic year 2017/2018 who do not benefit from the Inps call, confirming the accommodation for the academic year 2018/2019, will be able to fill in the Inps application if they are in possession of the conditions laid down in the call itself. These students are also expected to have the requirements of this call. Those students confirming the accommodation for the academic year 2018/2019 who will be awarded with Inps benefits within the call mentioned above will have to pay the fee according to the conditions of the Inps call and will benefit from the agreements according to the same con- ditions. Collegio Einaudi will make eventual regularisation of the 1st instalment. Students must apply for confirmation for the academic year 2018/2019 within the conditions laid down in this call, along with those laid down in the Inps one according to its specific procedure of submission. Should the students lose or decide to renounce the Inps benefit, they will be able to confirm the accommodation if they are in possession of the requirements of this call. In this case, students have to notify the date when the degree has been obtained: if it is within December 2018, they will be able to stay at Collegio Einaudi until Christmas holidays; if it is after January 1st , 2019, they will be able to stay at Collegio Einaudi until summer holidays. Ch. 12 -OTHER AGREEMENTS Every year, according to an act by the Mangament Board, some rooms are reserved to specific agree- ments with Higher Education Institutions of Excellence aimed at promoting academic achievemen- ts which serve as admission criteria. Students of “Scuola di Studi Superiori Ferdinando Rossi” of the University of Turin and “Collegio Car- lo Alberto” who have stayed for at least six months at Collegio Einaudi during the academic year 2017/2018 and who would not confirm the accommodation (even due to the regulation of the conven- tioneer) will be able to apply for the confirmation of the accommodation if they are in possession of the requirements of this call. In this case, students have to notify the date when the degree has been obtained: if it is within Decem- ber 2018, they will be able to stay at Collegio Einaudi until Christmas holidays; if it is after January 1st , 2019, they will be able to stay at Collegio Einaudi until summer holidays. 17
Ch. 13 - POST-GRADUATE STUDENTS Students will be able to confirm the accommodation if the following conditions are fulfilled: Prosecution of their course during the academic year 2018/2019 mainly in Turin. Collegio Einaudi may check the duration of the course. The accommodation is reserved for the effective stay in Turin. CALL FOR CONFIRMATION – AGREEMENTS AND POST-GRADUATE STUDENTS As mentioned in the earlier section of this call, post-graduate students: Do not have to update the exam section in their intranet profile; Do not have to notify their ISEE certification. However, they have to upload to the cloud within the deadline of this call: A self-certification stating the choice of the primary care physician in Turin, (form available here); A self-certification stating the prosecution of the post-degree course for the academic year 2018/2019 mainly in a higher education institution here in Turin. 18
Ch. 14 - INFORMATION ABOUT THE “GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR)” AC- CORDING TO THE UE REGULATION 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL OF 27TH APRIL 2016 (AND SUBSE- QUENT AMENDMENTS AND ADDITIONS) AND THE USE OF IMAGES ACCORDING TO THE ITA- LIAN LAW (ART. 13 D.LGS. 30/06/2003 N.196, L. 22/04/1941 N. 633 The UE Regulation 2016/679 concerning people’s data protection, in particular data collection and free movement of personal data (henceforth GDPR) covers people’s processing personal data. As required by the law, Collegio Universitario di Torino “R. Einaudi”, as a merit-based University College, non-profit and non-commercial organisation, legally recognised by MIUR, will process people’s per- sonal data according to the standards of correctness, legitimacy and transparency. When students apply for the Call for confirmation, they are aware of what art. 13 D.Lgs. n.196/2003 is about, so as to PRIVACY DISCLAIMER declare they have read it. 1. Purpose of processing Personal data will be processed during different steps of this call, from the check of students’ require- ments to the management of the bureaucratic procedures. In case of confirmation of the accommoda- tion benefit for the academic year 2017/18, students’ personal data may be used by Collegio Einaudi to carry out all the obligations coming from insurance contracts or similar ones; they may also be used in relation with tax legislation, health protection, public order and safety reasons, development and publishing of statistics on the institutional website, social medias, or similar means. 2. Modalities of the personal data processing Personal data are processed through technological and paper-based means. The outcomes of this call will be published on the official website – www.collegioeinaudi.it, as previously described in this call. 3. Nature of the data processing and consequences of denials Personal data must be provided to Collegio Einaudi; if not, accommodation benefit will not be awar- ded. 4. Personal data storage When students apply for this call, they automatically authorize Collegio Einaudi to store all the data through technological and paper-based means, as required by the Italian law. 5. Responsibility for personal data processing Personal data are held by Collegio Einaudi itself, headquartered in via Maria Vittoria 39 (10123, Turin). Andrea Fabbri, executive director of Collegio Einaudi, has the responsibility of personal data proces- sing. 6. Communication and distribution of personal data Universities in Turin, Agenzia delle Entrate, Guardia di Finanza, Questura7, banks may access perso- nal data in order to pursue the purpose of processing; Osservatorio Regionale per l’Università e per il Diritto allo Studio Universitario may also access the personal data, but anonymously only. In order to check if all the declarations provided by students are true, Collegio Einaudi may transmit personal 19
data to other Institutions which will be able to act on behalf of CollegioEinaudi. Police, universities, student’s associations, insurance companies, sports centres and travel agencies may access personal data; Conferenza dei Collegi di Merito8 may also access personal data in order to provide the “Diploma di Collegio” and the related certification of the acquired skills. 7. Video-surveillance and use of the images (L. 633 22/04/1941) Due to security reasons aimed at preserving the assets of the institution, Collegio Einaudi collects ima- ges in some spaces of the facility subject to video-surveillance. Moreover by applying for this call, students authorise Collegio Einaudi to use their images on a royalty-free basis, even after the confir- mation of the accommodation benefits. Images will be used to promote open-ended advertising about Collegio Einaudi and for non-profit-making reasons. When students apply for this call, they implicitly authorise the publication and/or the spread by any means of their own images on the website, social medias or any other means ofcommunication. They also authorise the storage of their images in the Collegio Einaudi database for no less than 10 years. Images can not be used for any other reasons but the ones described in the Collegio Einaudi Charter. Specific warnings will be posted in locations and events where photos or videos are taken. Images will also be taken by authorized workers. Students PRIVACY DISCLAIMER can deny the authorisation about their own images by sending a registered letter or an email (info@ collegioeinaudi.it). 8.
