27 CREATIVE ACTIVISTS / FOOD & BEVERAGE MARTELL Looking to develop its business in Asia even more, the brand called centdegrés to help transform this premium brand into a luxury one. The challenge was to build a strong style to resemble the look of a luxury brand. Cognac has several criteria that we call qualities, until now the products were identified by qualities and not by the brand. There really wasn’t a brand identity, centdegrés changed that by creating a logo englobing all of the brand’s soul to reach a sense of cohesion within the brand. Centdegrés also rethought and redid the image of the bar in Cognac and all the retail identity for the Martell duty free points and shops in China.
29 CREATIVE ACTIVISTS / FOOD & BEVERAGE GH.MUMM The first job was the rethink the identity of the brand. The agency pursued a simple idea. The fame of the brand came from the “cordon rouge” brut, the flagship product of the champagne house. The agency took the symbol of the red ribbon, present on the product and known throughout the world, to make it the new institutional symbol of the brand, becoming the major element, present on all the products and communications of the champagne house. From there, it was able to structure the whole portfolio of G.H.Mumm, to reconsider the logic of the range and to fix the role of each product and its personality.
31 CREATIVE ACTIVISTS / FOOD & BEVERAGE MAISON DE LA CHANTILLY With its blue and aerial logo as well as packaging as pure and simple as a childhood treat, centdegrés entirely revisited its visual identity. Evoking the clouds in sky blue and white, the brand’s Parisian showroom is both modern and delicious in an aerial and striking space.
