Food Glorious Food
at The Living Heritage series of Game & Country Fairs
Food Glorious Food is dedicated to the enjoyment of food, it splits into three main areas.
i) The Food Halls are individual marquees for food and drink producers and retailers.
ii) The Piazza, individual top hat marquees and seated areas where specialist caterers sell their culinary skills.
iii) The Country Kitchen demonstration area hosted by our chefs on stage.
It will be prominently sited on a main walkway in the busy arena areas. Provisional show layouts are available.

Food Glorious Food at the Game and Country Fairs has a small Piazza area that is open to specialist caterers.
Applications are generally considered on a tender basis, please contact us to discuss your style of catering.

The Leicestershire Showground is home to the Leicestershire Show in August. It is a large 60 acre showground
with ample car parking with good drainage and a good catchment area, making it an excellent venue for this
event and our Game & Country Fair later in the year.
The event is a Food & Drink Festival combined with a Craft & Wood Festival, (a copy of our two merged
Sandringham events this August where due to COVID reasons, the Easter Craft & Wood Show has been
merged with the usual Food Festival which should be a great combination).
The events main features are chefs on stage, The Piazza Food Court, Food Halls, Real Ale Marquee, Live
Music, Craft Marquees, Working Craftsmen, Chainsaw Carving Competition, various Rural Timber Craft working
demonstrations and Childrens entertainment.

Food Shedding Units
The shedding is provided by Aluminium Clearspan marquees subdivided into the relevant units as shown.
If you wish to build up in front of your unit, please book Shedding 2 where your marquee will be set 2 metres behind the
trade line. You must then only build up to 2 metres in front of your unit.
Please Note: Anyone booking Shedding 1 will not be allowed to build up in front of their unit.
Space is always at a premium when the shedding is laid out in the form of a block, which is most shows.
Exhibitors booking shedding with a 3 metre frontage will be allowed one vehicle or caravan behind the shedding unit.
Their additional vehicle or caravan will be parked in the exhibitor parking area.

Real Ale and Cider Marquee
The Real Ale and Cider Marquee, centrally located in the Piazza, is open fronted with plenty of adjacent
seating to relax and soak up the atmosphere.
The Real Ale and Cider Marquee is dedicated to microbreweries wishing to sell their beers and ciders in a
communal Beer Festival atmosphere.

Food & Drink Vendors in the Piazza
The Piazza
The Piazza is a special area within the Food Festival, it has large areas of open and covered seating where
visitors can relax and eat. You can choose from a wide range of tastes and cultures: Thai, Chinese, Indian,
Middle Eastern, Far Eastern, to barbequed ribs and brisket, pie and mash. To complement all the good food,
there’s a large selection of beverages available: wine, champagne, cocktails, real ales, ciders and perries.
There’s something to suit everyone’s taste, so chill out and soak up the atmosphere whilst listening to the
background music of Jazz and Folk.

We appreciate that vegan and vegetarian catering is time consuming with a subsequent limited volume of
sales. To increase the range of street food at the festivals the following prices are available for a strict vegan/
vegetarian menu. Please submit your menu when applying for the show.

This years Food & Drink Festival is in it’s 5th year. It has been combined with our Easter Craft & Wood Festival,
both Sandringham and ourselves thought Easter April was too early in the year (Covid 19) for an event at
Sandringham.
The event will encompass all the usual features of the two successful events at Sandringham. We hope the
event in August will be a near normal show.

Festive Fairs
We have organised the Sandringham Christmas Craft
Fair since 2003 when we took over the Craft Shows
at Sandringham. Over the subsequent years this has
developed and grown into a Christmas, Food & Gift Fair,
a combination of the three types of shows we organise at
Sandringham. It has proved to be a winning combination
and hugely popular with visitors.
This year we will be taking the show to more selected
venues:
November 6th / 7th The Newbury Showground
November 19th / 21st Sandringham
November 27th / 28th Staffordshire Showground
December 11th / 12th East of England Showground
We look forward to welcoming you to these events.
The main elements are as follows:
Crafts
Just the place for Artists, Designers & Craftsmen to promote and sell
their crafts and skills. Add to the Christmas fun by demonstrating at
the event, demonstration space is free.
Food Halls
Always a popular topic at Christmas take a stand in our large food
halls and serve up your own festive cheer.
Gifts Marquees
Popular with our Country Fair Exhibitors with country clothing and
sporting accessories, ladies fashion clothing, Winter woollies,
household fancy goods and toys. To the more country orientated
Bushcraft, canine treats and accessories.
Festive Fairs
Helping to create happy shoppers is a quality range of festival
