We were born in Romford and brought up in Brentwood, our earliest memories and inspiration
stems from Essex, making the area extremely special to us. Our families mean everything to us,
 and that’s why this Christmas means a lot more than any other year. 2020 has been a year that
none of us will ever forget, it has seen many months of us not being with our family and friends
        and now is the time to celebrate and come together and enjoy this festive season

       Now, here’s a fascinating fact: Christmas has been celebrated at Galvin Green Man
        our Chelmsford pub and restaurant - on and off since 1341. That’s 679 years!

       So, please, come and join us for your Christmas celebration at our award winning
  Galvin Green Man; enjoy a table within the restaurant, a drink with the open roaring fires in
 the pub, or for an exclusive experience, our private dining suites are available to hire as well.

Set in the beautiful Essex countryside, close to Great Waltham
        in a building dating back to 1341, Galvin Green Man is an
    award winning, Bib Gourmand British pub and modern restaurant,
            boasting panoramic views and an extensive garden.

Our 4 private dining suites provide an exclusive dining experience whilst also experiencing that
of our renowned menus

The Essex Cricket Room, The Marriages Room, The Countryside Room and The Adnams Room
are the perfect setting to enjoy precious moments with your friends, family and colleagues

Seating up to 14 guests* (minimum numbers of 7), the suites are situated on the 1st floor,
we provide your own dedicated waiting team throughout the duration of your time with us.

Christmas day is the perfect time to book your home away from home, join us in our private dining
rooms this Christmas and let us do the washing up!
