THE LASTING LEGACY... We are proud to announce with Canadian Pacific (CP) that SickKids Foundation has been chosen as the primary charity partner for the 2019 CP Women’s Open in Aurora, Ontario. This year, CP will be working with Kyle Hayhoe, a child ambas- sador for SickKids Foundation. Kyle was cared for at the Hos- pital for Sick Children (SickKids) for four months after he was diagnosed with a hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy at only seven weeks old and required a heart transplant. Now, when Kyle isn’t attending his regular check-ups with heart transplant, respiratory and nephrology teams at SickKids, he can be found on the golf course perfecting his swing. Funds raised through the CP Women’s Open will go towards upgrading an outdated Cardiac Operating Suite at SickKids. CP will also be making a donation to Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, Ontario. to support cardiac care in the York Region. Southlake will receive up to $250,000. We are so pleased to again be a part of such a great cause. Though these amazing partnerships we have helped change the lives of so many amazing individuals and we are looking forward to helping so many more.
