WELCOME FROM THE CHIEF MINISTER I am delighted to welcome you to the Canberra Comedy Festival 2019. The Festival has grown significantly over the past seven years and now, each March, our city transforms into a thriving comedy hub. The ACT Government is proud to support the festival as it showcases our inclusive and funny city to some of the world’s best talent. More than just a week of laughs, the Canberra Comedy Festival continues to bring world-class entertainment to the capital, with a variety of comedic offerings from around the world right through to some fantastic talent from our own backyard. Whether it’s Dave Hughes, Ronny Chieng, The Chaser or Canberra’s own Maddy Weeks, there’s something for everyone this year.
