Hierarchy of FEI competitions EVERY 4 YEARS About FEI Located in Lausanne (SUI), the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), is the world EVERY 4 YEARS governing body of all international competitions and events in the disciplines of Jumping, Dressage and Para-Dressage, Eventing, Driving and Para-Driving, Endurance, Vaulting and Reining. FEI World Equestrian Games Tryon™ 2018 The Games: Awarded by the FEI every four years alternating with the Summer Olympic Games, the FEI World Equestrian Games™ are the true World Championships of Equestrianism. They comprise all seven FEI disciplines: Jumping, Dressage & Para-Dressage, Eventing, Driving & Para-Driving, Endurance, Reining and Vaulting. The Games, which showcase the world’s most exceptional athletes, attract more than 500,000 on-site spectators as well as half a billion TV viewers and significant global media coverage. Although the concept of the FEI World Equestrian Games™ is still relatively new, it is enjoying rapidly growing success throughout the globe. In 2018, the Games will continue their role in harnessing the immense interest in all equestrian sports worldwide. After the success of the 2014 Games, which were held in Caen, Normandy (FRA), the FEI World Equestrian Games™ will heading to the U.S.A. from 11th to 23rd of September 2018 for their ninth edition and to one of the most scenic and inspiring equestrian areas of the world, Tryon in North Carolina.
