BAILEY PROGRAM FOR FAMILY ENTERPRISE Family Office Executive Overview Workshop PROGRAM DATES: OCTOBER 14-21, 2021 Family offices are a growing force in the family enterprise field. EY estimates there are more than10,000 single-family offices globally, at least half of which were started within the past two decades. This rapid growth is changing the world of family offices faster than ever. As family offices grow increasingly complex, they demand the cultivation of knowledge, training, and agility to thrive and flourish. In this highly-flexible, content-applicable workshop, hosted by the Bailey Program for Family Enterprise, participants look through an enterprising family lens as they gain a broad overview perspective on systemic areas impacting family offices. Family Office Executive Overview Workshop MEET THE FACULTY Michelle Clements Troy McWhinney Lead faculty and Family Office President, Michelle Guest faculty and Co-Founder and Chief Clements has expertise in family governance, Investment Officer of McWhinney, a Denver-based wealth management, and organizational strategy. commercial real estate firm. Guest faculty and Principal at the Johnson Financial Group, LLC, Brandon is an acting board Marte Timmers member for several organizations including DU, Guest faculty and Member at Sherman and the Children’s Hospital, and ACE Scholarships. Howard, Marte has practiced law for more than 20 years, focusing on family law for more than Kristin Keffeler half that time. Guest faculty and DU alumnae, Kristin Keffeler is the founder and owner of Illumination360 and an Sue Young advisor and certified professional coach. Guest faculty and Transactional Lawyer, Sue’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, PJ Kovach corporate finance, and general corporate law. Guest faculty and Managing Director at Deloitte Tax, PJ brings 20 years of experience working with High Net Worth families. Katie Kramer Guest faculty and President and CEO of the Boettcher Foundation, Katie brings experience with extensive local and national board service and national recognition for her expertise in scholarship selection processes. Bailey Program for Family Enterprise MORE INFORMATION The Bailey Program for Family Enterprise (BPFE) is a comprehensive learning and scholarship community directed from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business.
