Admission procedure

                                        1. CHECK YOUR APPLICATION

•   Submit your online application, following the procedure available at
    international.unicatt.it.

•   If the academic board decides that you must take the Cattolica Admission Test, you
    will receive a notification – check your Online Application Portal.

•   Within a few days, you will receive an e-mail from IAM_noreply@unicatt.it to activate
    your account on the Portale iscrizione ai corsi (remember to check your spam box and all
    the inboxes of your email account as well).

             Should you already have an account with the Portale iscrizione ai corsi,
             please share the username with international.admissions@unicatt.it.

                 2. HOW TO REGISTER TO THE TEST

Access the Portale iscrizione ai corsi with your credentials.

Click on your application number and upload the required documents:
• PHOTO
• CODICE FISCALE (if available)
• IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT (Non-EU citizens must upload their passport)
• PERMIT OF STAY (required only to Non-EU citizens residing in Italy)
• ENGLISH LANGUAGE CERTIFICATE (see Entry Requirements): you must possess the certificate
   with the minimum required score/level to register to the Cattolica Admission Test.

Select the date and time to take the test.

Pay the registration fee of € 60.00 (non-refundable) within the deadline. Should you retake
the test, you will have to pay the fee a second time.

Your registration to the test is complete only if your application status changes into
“Pending admission test result”.

                                                        Timeline

The test is delivered online. For each session, you will be able to choose the date and time you prefer. There is a limited number of
available slots for each session.

                  The Cattolica Admission Test, on the dates following the first session, will be organised only if places in the
                  programme are still available.

 Successful completion of the Cattolica Admission Test is equivalent to completion of the Foundation Knowledge Assessment
 test (VPI)-check page 7.

                                              Notes for candidates with disabilities or LDs

              If you are a candidate with a disability or with Learning Disabilities (LDs), you must submit, in a
              single PDF file, the LD report or LD certificate to Servizi per l’integrazione degli studenti con
              disabilità e con DSA within the dates indicated below.

     Delivery of the documents is not equivalent to the registration for the test, which must in any case be
     carried out through Portale iscrizione ai corsi ; any documentation delivered after the dates indicated
     will not be taken into consideration.
     The candidates are kindly asked to choose one of the first available slots during the day, in order to be
     able to adequately provide them with the compensatory facilities assigned.
     In the event of a negative result of the test and subsequent repetition of the same, it is necessary to
     contact the Service in order to be able to dispose of any necessary compensatory instruments again.
3. THE ADMISSION TEST                                                 3
                                   General information

If you did not pay the contribution within the set time, you will not be able to take the test.

A     few      days     before     the     test    you      will    receive     an     e-mail     with
the credentials to access the examination platform. You will be asked to carry out a COMPULSORY
DEMO in order to avoid any possible mistake which could interfere with the actual examination process.

The test will be delivered in English.
You have one hour to answer 48 multiple choice questions.
Only one answer is correct.

The questions are divided equally into 4 subject areas:
• Logic,
• Maths,
• Reading comprehension,
• English.

The scores associated with each answer are evaluated as follows:
•   Exact answer: 1,25
•   Wrong answer: - 0,25
•   No answer: 0

                                        Calculation of marks and admission

       To pass the test, you must correctly answer at least 4 questions for each subject
       area and score at least 31 points.

Candidates achieving a score lower than 6/12, but at least equal to or higher than 4/12 in the
Mathematics subject area, will be required to sit an Additional Training Obligation (OFA - Obbligo
Formativo Aggiuntivo) comprising a 12-hour Pre-Math course. It is necessary to take it and
successfully pass the final compulsory test within the 1st year of the course. In case of a negative
result, the student will be contacted by the Orientation and Tutoring Office, through the tutoring
group for methodological support.

        Candidates who pass the test will be ranked according to their test results, high
        school grades and available places.

                                 4. DOWNLOAD THE RESULTS

    Starting from the dates indicated on page 4, you can access the Portale iscrizione
    ai corsi to check your test results.

    If you are eligible for enrolment, you will receive an admission letter which will
    outline the conditions to enrol and the deadline to reserve your place by paying
    the first installment of the tuition fees.

•     Eligibility in the degree course in Economics and Management may be used-
      should you fulfill the requirements- to reserve a place for an Italian-taught course
      of the School of Economics.

•     If the result is negative, you could repeat the test on the next available session (if
      any test date is activated based on available places). Your application cannot be
      re-assessed based on High School grades or SAT/ACT test results.

                                     5. RESERVE YOUR PLACE                                     UC

Pay the first installment of the tuition fees by the deadline indicated on the offer letter.

          Login to the Portale iscrizione ai corsi and access your
          application.

           If your application status is «eligible for enrolment», proceed with the payment
           of the deposit to reserve your spot. Check post admissions, step 2.

           The earlier you pay, the sooner you will ensure a spot in this highly competitive
           program. If the payment of the first instalment is not completed by the deadline,
           your offer for admission will be withdrawn and your place assigned to another
           candidate in the ranking.
