RED FARM Covent Garden When dim-sum guru Joe Ng and restau- rateur Ed Schoenfeld first opened Red Farm in NYC, Manhattanites went nuts for what the New Yorker described as a "Jewish-deli/Chinese-restaurant mash-up”, or should that be "Upper West Side Haute NEW OPENINGS Chinese-American" as Serious Eats dubbed it. Either way, they've got a three-storey prominent site in Covent Garden, just next to another NYC import, Balthazar (so they should be right at home here). KERRIDGE’S BAR & GRILL Mayfair What can we expect from Tom Kerridge’s first London venture? Opening September 10th in the Corinthia Hotel’s stunningly beau- tiful dining room- the work of the late design- er David Collins and updated by his studio ready for Kerridge's arrival- the menu will hark back to classic dishes & traditional tech- niques. TOM KITCHIN, GUEST CHEF AT THE GAME BIRD Sep 27 – The Stafford, St James’s Place The Game Bird, renowned for offering the finest modern British comfort cooking, has launched a series of guest chef dinners with celebrated chef Tom Kitchin to host the third dinner on the 27th September. Tom is an Edinburgh based chef and restaurateur with Michelin starred “The Kitchin” to his name, amongst others. Tom has released several cookbooks including “Tom Kitchin’s Meat & Game”, and most recently “Tom Kitchin’s Fish & Shellfish”. For the dinner on the 27th Tom has created a four-course menu that celebrates seasonal Scottish ingredients, from land and sea, and is complimented by canapes and Moët & Chandon.
