NATIONAL NETWORK Science AL!VE is a network member of Actua. Actua provides training, resources and support to its national network of memebers located at universities and colleges across Canada in delivery of SUMMER 2018 science, technology, Welcome to Science AL!VE’s Explore STEM engineering and mathematics Camps! Science AL!VE is a not-for-profit, (STEM) education outreach undergraduate-run organization that is based programming. Each year, at Simon Fraser University. SFU BURNABY At SFU Burnaby we offer a variety of camps, all of which strive to bring university level science to students in grades K-9. Quark Camp (Grades 2-3) This year our quark campers will discover their passion for robotics, the wonderful world of fo- rensic sciences and can take a brief excursion back in time through paleontology! CONTACT US PRE & POST CARE We will be running both pre-care (7:30am-8:30am) and Science AL!VE post-care (3:30pm-5:30pm). On Thursdays we invite all families to attend our Open House beginning at 2pm. Campers will present some of their favourite projects of the week and we will put on a science show where we do a variety of sci- ence demonstrations. 4. On Fridays students may participate in water games (weather dependent). We recommend bringing a change of clothes on this day.
