Accommodation and Self Catering Kerem Adventure Camp is an integrated accommodation and adventure camp set in a secluded rural atmosphere, with beautifully maintained grounds and acres of lush, green lawn. It’s great fun in the great outdoors and just 45min from Perth CBD. A rural retreat where you’ll meet new friends, get inspired and collide head on with nature. The Camp is suitable for medium to large group bookings and while it boasts “the best camp food ever!” groups can also use the well equipped kitchen to cater for themselves. The Camp is made up of five accommodation huts, an ablutions building and the ‘U-Hut’, a large U-shaped building that houses the camp kitchen, dining hall, meeting hall and recreation area. All camps booked at Kerem Adventure Camp are booked exclusively; meaning you have the whole camp and all its facilities to yourself! No sharing the kitchen or ablutions; it’s just you, the fresh air, birds and kangaroos. PRICES – Self-catered Cam ps Minimum two night stay for self-catered camps, minimum group size: 40 campers per night. Minimum campers for one night stay is 60 campers. Kitchen hire fee of $200 per day applies to all self-catered camps. A $250 refundable bond is also required. Package Types 12 years + 4 – 11 years Nightly accommodation rate $36 $29 Add continental breakfast with bacon & eggs rolls $15 per day $10 per day Children 3 and under who require a bed $20 CLEANING All camps are quoted as self-cleaning camps. Groups are required to provide their own cleaning for all meal times (dishes and dining area), as well as basic daily cleaning of kitchen, accommodation huts and ablutions. Groups are responsible for ensuring all outdoor activity areas are kept neat, tidy and free from litter. Kerem Adventure Camp offers affordable Housekeeping and Cleaning packages, so if you’d rather spend more time joining in the fun and less time cleaning up after your campers, let the Kerem team clean! Please be advised that activities are subject to availability and deposits are required. Groups staying at Kerem receive special entry rates to Outback Splash at The Maze Family Fun Park, one of Perth’s premier tourist attractions. Entry to The Maze and Outback Splash includes all of the park’s activities and attractions including the Waterslide Playground during the summer season (October - April). Campers can apply to organise their own activities provided by a 3rd party, however details of the 3rd party provider must be supplied to Camp Management prior to booking. Camp Management reserve the right to full discretion over the activities and providers admitted to Camp premises.

Note: it’s a good idea to remind your campers that they are ‘going bush’, white shoes and fancy clothes might be best left at home! The Camp kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and baking dishes as well as the following equipment: • Urn • Hot Plate • Chest Freezer • 6 gas burner stove • Double door standing fridge • Commercial gas, fan-forced oven • Microwave • 2 additional gas ovens • Large capacity toaster It is recommended that you bring any additional meal preparation utensils that may be specific to the needs of your group, including kitchen knives. This is not an exhaustive list, but a guide to assist in your camp preparations. Please consider the needs specific to your group when determining what to bring for your stay. Each Group wishing to book Kerem Adventure Camp must nominate a Camp Leader who has the authority to act on behalf of their group. The Camp Leader must be a responsible adult, 25 years or older, must be in attendance for the duration of the camp and accepts all responsibility for the Group, monies payable and adherence to all Kerem Adventure Camp Conditions, Policies and Camp Staff instructions. 2. Self-catering: a. catering must be provided by experienced, responsible adults b. kitchen hire is charged at $200 per day c. a $250 bond is payable prior to the camp d. Kerem Adventure Camp reserves the right to supervise the use of all facilities at its discretion
e. By choosing to self-cater the Group’s Camp Leader accepts full responsibility for ensuring all food is prepared and handled in accordance with all relevant food safety laws, guidelines and requirements as prescribed by state and local government f. Kerem Adventure Camp takes no responsibility or liability for any harm, fatality or injury to campers with special diet needs. Responsibility for the aforementioned rests with the Group & its Camp Leader 3. Damage a. Damage to Kerem Adventure Camp property is at the camping group’s expense and will be added to the final account 4. Cleaning a. All camps are quoted as self-cleaning camps. Groups are required to provide their own cleaning for all meal times (dishes and dining area), as well as basic daily cleaning of kitchen, accommodation huts and ablutions. Groups are responsible for ensuring all outdoor activity areas are kept neat, tidy and free from litter. b. Cleaning packages are available for an additional fee c. A cleaning fee will be charged to the final account where cleaning has not been completed to an acceptable standard. 5. Booking and payments process a. If the application to hold a camp is accepted, a tentative booking is made (and held for 14 days) and a quote issued. b. The booking is confirmed once the quote has been signed and returned by the Camp Leader, a deposit of 20% (to a maximum of $2500) has been paid. If the deposit has not been received within 14 days, the tentative dates will be released to be booked by other parties. c. Deposits are non-refundable. d. The Booking Confirmation Form will be issued 6 weeks prior to the camp commencement date and must be returned no less than 30 days prior to camp commencement e. A balance invoice, based on final numbers (or minimum numbers, whichever is greater) will be issued 30 days prior to camp commencement f. Full payment is due 7 days prior to camp commencement. Camps will not be permitted to commence unless full payment has been received. g. Should there be any variance in camper numbers, a final account will be issued at the conclusion of the camp. Payment of final the account is required within 14 days. Final charges will be based on the camper numbers charged prior to camp, or the actual numbers in attendance, whichever is greater. h. The Camp Leader is responsible for keeping details of camper numbers in attendance at Kerem Adventure Camp (including any day visitors). i. Minimum nightly charges are based on the minimum camper numbers stated in the current Kerem Adventure Camp information packs. 6. Cancellation a. Deposits are non-refundable, but can be transferred within the same financial year if a written request is received 90 prior to camp commencement and if a new camp date is available. b. Groups booking Kerem Adventure Camp are liable for payment in full of the accommodation components of any camp booked, if less than 60 days written notice of cancellation is given. c. In addition to payment of the full accommodation costs, Groups booking Kerem Adventure Camp are liable for full payment of the catering components of any camp booked, as well as any cancellation fees Kerem Adventure Camp is liable for in relation to activities booked by 3rd party providers, if less than 30 days written notice of cancellation is given. Disclaimers: 1. Whilst care will be taken, no responsibility or liability is accepted by Kerem Adventure Camp (Funday Camps Pty Ltd) for injury, loss of life or property, damage to property or harm to campers while at Kerem Adventure Camp, in transit to or from Kerem Adventure Camp, or while involved in recreational activities. 2. Use of the pool area is free of charge if supervision is provided by the camp group. Supervisors must be over the age of 18 and have an aquatic supervision qualification or Bronze Medallion. Kerem Adventure Camp takes no responsibility or liability for injury or fatality as a result of swimming pool use. It is the responsibility of the Group’s
Camp Leader to ensure the nominated responsible adults and qualified supervisors are supervising all pool activities throughout the duration of the camp and that these supervisors hold the required qualifications. 3. Whilst care will be taken, no responsibility or liability is accepted by Kerem Adventure Camp (Funday Camps Pty Ltd) for injury, loss of life or harm to campers caused by allergic reaction or toxicity reaction. 4. Kerem Adventure Camp accepts no responsibility for injury, illness, loss of life, damage or loss of property that may occur in the instance of campers participating in an activity operated by a 3rd party or at a 3rd party venue. 5. Kerem Adventure Camp takes no responsibility or liability for any harm, fatality or injury to campers with special dietary needs. Full responsibility for the aforementioned rests with the Group and its Camp Leader.
