COVID Challenges
NASS is tracking the public health laws of Massachusetts and the City of Boston to
keep current while planning the 36th Annual Meeting, September29-October 2.
Flexible Cancellation Policy
NASS is keeping the flexible cancellation policies adopted in 2020. If cancellation is received before
July 14, the company will be responsible for 50% of their contracted fees. There will be no refund
after July 14. In the event NASS 2021 in Boston is cancelled, NASS will provide a 100% refund to all
contracted companies.
Inline Booth Exhibits
A corner for every booth! To maintain a consistent exhibit floor design, NASS will provide a degree
of distancing while simultaneously offering every booth frontage.
Inline Exhibits (10x10, 10x20, 10x30) are laid out in smaller 20x20 blocks. Instead of having an 8’ back
drape and two 3’ side drapes, each exhibit will have one 8’ back drape, one 8’ side drape so every
booth has its own corner. Companies will be free to use up to 8’ on each of the draped sides. See
diagram on page 4.
Hotel Blocks
Room block process will begin in April. More information to follow.
Business Suites
The business suite base size is increasing to 10x20. The larger base size will accommodate
distancing requirements as needed.

Capacity Restrictions
NASS will plan the meeting space to meet existing social distancing requirements. As these
requirements change, plans will be adapted. NASS will communicate all such changes as they occur.

Housing
Housing for exhibiting companies will
be delayed due to COVID; information
forthcoming in April.
Applications for booth space should be submitted
prior to securing hotel rooms. NASS has partnered
once again with onPeak as the Official Housing
Provider for the meeting. Please be vigilant if you
are contacted by any other company who claims
to be the “Official Housing Provider” for the NASS
Annual Meeting who can book rooms for you at
supposedly significant discounts.
NASS and onPeak have contracted with select
hotels in Boston at discounted rates. You will be
able to easily book and manage reservations for
your group. onPeak will contact you directly with
more details in April.
