ABOUT THE EXHIBITOR HANDBOOK Dear Exhibitor, Thank you for your interest in RAIL INDUSTRY SHOW 2022. The Exhibitor Handbook informs the exhibitors about their responsibilities before, during and after the fair, and is also an annex of the contract. Information about the exhibitor’s booth location and other items in the contract are for general information. I t does not contain information about the exhibitor. This information is detailed in the lease agreement between Modern Fuarcilik and the exhibitor. Important Application deadlines for the services to be provided by MODERN FUARCILIK are included in the "Exhibitor Work Program". In order toreceive the services in full, all necessary forms must be filled in and sent to MFAS by e-mail or courier until April, 10, 2022. Modern Fairs A.S. does not commit to meet requests that arrive after the due date. Çevre Yolu No:114 Odunpazari / ESKISEHIR TRANSPORTATION TO THE FAIR AREA Directions: After taking the Eskisehir-Ankara Highway, keep driving until the recently opened Eskisehir City Hospital. When you turn left under the turn of the City Hospital, you can reach the Exhibition Center. Public Transport From the city center, you can take bus and minibus lines numbered 6, 33, 43, 44, 57, 65, 75 or 103 . If you take the tram that runs between the Opera and City Hospital, you can get off at the last stop called"Sehir Hastanesi " and walk 10 minutes to reach the center. Forklift and crane services hired from other providers will not be allowed to the fair area. Booth assembly will be done between 07-09, May, 2022, 09:00 and 21:00 hours. During this period, Forklift and Crane Service will be provided upon request for the purpose of carrying materials and will be charged individually. The dismantling process begins on May, 12, 2022, 8:00 P.M. and ends at 10:00 A.M. on May, 14, 2020. During this period, if demanded, forklift and lifting crane services will be provided for the material carrying and will be charged individually. Exhibitors must comply with the directives of MODERN FAIRS. Specifically during the booth disassembly, gates to be used for the removing stuff should never be blocked. Exhibitors can buy empty pallets and/or boxes from the contracted shipping company EKSPRES LOJİSTİK. Exhibitor Card, OHS Card, Visitor Entry Card Exhibitor Card: Used by the exhibitor’s representatives to prove their identity when entering the fair and booth areas. • Extra Exhibitor Card requests will be met in the fair area. • Exhibitor Cards are personal; they are not transferrable. • Except for the specified cards, it is not possible to enter the fair as Exhibitor. OHS Entry Card: It is used by the exhibitor’s personnel and the Booth Designer staff who will set up the booth in the area at theentrance to the fair area and on assembly days. Food&Beverage and Catering Services: Any kind of service related with food and beverage and catering will be directed to Ekin Organization. Any other company will not be welcomed to the fair ground. Advertisement Services Advertising materials which are made up of letters, with flashes, rotating or illuminated are not allowed to be used on the exterior walls of the booth. These kinds of advertising materials can be used in the booth if only they comply with other conditions specified in this contract. OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY IMPORTANT ● All works are subject to audit by authorized ‘Health and Safety Company" under the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Law No. 6331 on behalf of MODERN FAIRS A.S. ● According to the "Occupational Health and Safety Law" No: 6331, SGK service reports of all employees who will be present in the booth assembly process should be reported to the Authorized Occupational Health and Safety unit, in order to protect the health and safety of all employees in the fair area. Otherwise, the staff will not be table to enter/access/work at the fair area. GENERAL RULES ● The fair area is defined as “Very Dangerous” working area. It is obligatory to comply with the declared working hours and the directives givenby the Field Audit Team. The team is authorized to stop any kind of work. ● Rough work on the booths (cutting, sanding, paint, etc.) must be completed before the day and hours declared by the organizer. At the specified time, all dust producing works within the area will be stopped. Unfinished jobs will be completed on the evening of the first day. The organizer should be notified and work permit should be obtained before the completion work. ● Smoking is prohibited in closed areas, and smoking is permitted only at outside at the specially designated smoking area. ● Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited during the "Booth Installation" and "Booth Dismantling" stage within the fair area. Employees and/or officials who have drunk alcoholic beverages will be dismissed from the fair area by the Organizer. ● It is strictly forbidden to bring animals to the fair area without the organizer’s approval. ● It is strictly forbidden to use any flammable materials or conduct activities with flames. ● Vehicle speed limit in the fair area is equal to walking speed. (5 km/h) ● During the maneuvering of vehicles (especially transportation vehicles and construction machines), the operator must receivecommands from a signalman over an appropriate communication system. ● Channel covers on the ground should be kept closed at all times. ● Exhibitors cannot use ceilings of the fairground halls as a support or hang any visual materials on the ceilings when assemblingthe booths. ● Transportation by hand should be avoided as much as possible. The weight of the material to be carried by hand should notexceed 25 kilos. ● In the area where manual carrying is allowed, there should be no material which may cause stumbling and falling. ● While carrying on a vehicle, the materials should be to prevent them from falling. ● The Organizer is obliged to record all accidents at the fair area. Employees who have an accident will be taken to the 9
Ambulance, if necessary accompanied by the Organizer. It is the Organizer's responsibility to provide the necessary information for the report. ● In case of an emergency, MODERN FAIRS A.S. has the right to evacuate certain areas or the entire fair ground with the help of law enforcement and firefighters. In such a case, Exhibitors must comply with the directions made over the announcement system or authorized personnel. No material should be placed in front of the emergency exits during the installation and fair. ACCIDENTS ● As the organizer, MODERN FAIRS A.S. must record all the accidents that take place in the fair area and Employees who have an accident will be taken to the Ambulance, if necessary accompanied by the Organizer. It is the Organizer's responsibility to provide the necessary information for the report. FIRST AID A first aid room (with its nurse) in the Main Foyer area will be kept open during fair assembly, visit and fair dismantling processes. TOBACCO PRODUCTS CONSUMPTION IN THE FAIR AREA In accordance with The Law on Prevention and Control of Hazards of Tobacco Products, Law No. 5727, it is forbidden to consume tobacco and tobacco products in the fair area. The Exhibitor, who allows his employees and visitors to consume tobacco products in the booth space allocated, is directly responsible for all legal obligations to be applied. MUSIC BROADCAST AND SOUND LEVEL IN FAIR AREA The Exhibitor, that will perform an audiovisual show in the fair area, must inform the MODERN FAIRS A.S. in writing and obtain permission. Should a visual show is to be performed, the reflection of this show must not extend beyond the booth area. Otherwise, MODERN FAIR officials have the right to intervene in the show. Equipment promotions, video screenings and music broadcasts to be made within the booth should not disturb the neighboring booths and fair visitors. In any case, the maximum allowed noise level is 80 dB (decibels). If a speaker is going to be used in the booth, sound should be prevented from going out of it. If the sound level exceeds 80 dB (decibels) at a distance of 1 m from the booth, MODERN FAIR officials will warn the exhibitor and the sound level will be reduced below 80 dB (decibels). MOTOR VEHICLE IN THE BOOTH AREA Vehicles with an internal combustion engine can be exhibited in halls, with reserve level of fuel in their tanks. The vehicle's fuel tank mustbe locked and the battery should be disconnected. Vehicles with LPG cannot be exhibited in the fair area. Insurance Liabilities The exhibitor or his staff is responsible for the damage caused to people, vehicles, booths and all kinds of materials. The exhibitor will be obliged to provide a healthy and safe work environment to all employees and visitors who will take part in the booth assembly, during the fair and dismantling. The exhibitor will comply with the minimum health and safety conditions and report all accidents and hazards to MODERN FUARCILIK. The exhibitor shall pay attention to the compliance of occupational health and safety laws with all the activities to be carried out by him or his contractor during the booth assembly, during the fair and when the booths are dismantled, starting from the transportation of his equipment to the fair area. The exhibitor is responsible for meeting the minimum health and safety conditions specified against third parties. If MODERN FAIRS A.S. has to pay a penalty due to possible damages, the Exhibitor agrees in advance that he will compensate them. The Exhibitor agrees and undertakes that he / she is responsible for all kinds of financial, legal and criminal responsibilities that may arise on behalf of his / her own staff, MODERN FAIRS A.S. staff or third parties due to non-compliance with the terms of the contract and the rules of the Fairground. Exhibitors are advised to insure themselves, their employees, booths, products and materials and other equipment, during the transportation to and back from the area and for the days they will spend in the fair area. According to the Occupational Health and Safety Law, 10
No. 6331, uninsured employees and/or employees under the age of 18 will not be allowed in the fair site. For this reason, all exhibitors and/or designer firms that will take part with a special booth will be taken to the fair area, provided that they present the tax certificate sample and the SSK recruitment declaration of the company they work for, and the company approved letter indicating on which booth they are working. In case of detecting otherwise, these people will be taken out of the hall. For this reason, the exhibitors that will participate with a special booth and all employees of the booth designer company, will be taken to the fair area on condition that they present the tax plate sample of the company they work with, the SSK recruitment declaration and the company approved letter indicating on which booth they are assigned. If this rule is not followed, people who violate the rule will be taken out of the hall. THE USAGE OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) ● It is compulsory for everyone entering the fair area to wear reflective vests in accordance with Turkish Standards, work safetyshoes with toe and sole protection, boots or walking shoes. ● Entries to the fairground are not permitted with missing PPE. ● It is mandatory to use safety helmet in risky areas. ● The necessary equipment (glasses, dust mask, ear protector, etc.) for the work to be done should be present with personnel andshould be used during the work. WORKS THAT PRODUCE DUST Activities that produce dust in the fair area are essentially prohibited. Therefore; • While the booth is installed, using sanding plaster, all kinds of plaster-derived boards, panels, cement-based panels, gypsumplaster and surface sanding is prohibited in the fair area. • It is mandatory to use a vacuum suction tool for all dust producing works such as wooden material cuts. • The organizer can prepare a cutting site outside the closed area for dust producing wood cuts and may request that all cuts bedone in that area. WATER AND PRESSURIZED AIR ● Compressed air service is not provided in the open area. ● In the central compressed air system, a nominal diameter connection of 9 bar and 1/2 " is provided. ● Unauthorized compressed air intake from the channel and connection to the installation is prohibited. ● The water is supplied through a 1/2 "pipe and discharged through the sewer under the floor in the booth area. ● It is forbidden to install a clean and dirty water installation and to make a connection to the established installation without permission. ● Exhibitors are obliged to perform the installation works in the booth in accordance with the regulations and have expert personnel. ● The exhibitor must inform their request for water and compressed air by using the Technical Service Form until the deadline. ● Modern Fair Organization does not bear any service responsibility for the requests sent after the deadline. ● If the exhibitor changes their demand for water and compressed air that is specified in the Technical Service Form, or makes additional requests, the fulfillment of this request depends on the availability of the workload of MODERN FAIRS A.S.. Therefore, the fulfillment of the change request or the new request cannot be guaranteed. If the demand can be answered, the service fee will be 50% higher than the amount specified in the Technical Service Form. (Related Form: Fill the Technical Service Form). 11
● Before starting the construction of your booth, make sure that the necessary technical infrastructure is drawn from the channels to your booth area. It is recommended to leave a "Guide" between your booth and the channels in order to meet new demandsthat may occur later or so that possible changes do not hinder installation. WORKING WITH ELECTRICITY ● It is forbidden for people who do not have an electric authority certificate to work on the electrical installation. ● It is strictly forbidden to use electrical cables without plug. Open ended electrical cables will not be allowed. ● In order to prevent problems that may arise due to overvoltage and load, it is essential not to connect an additional extensioncord to a one in use. ● If the power cable passes through the corridor, the cable must be protected. It should be prevented from causing tripping andfalling. ● Electric current should only be taken from the sockets authorized by the authorities. Fuses must not be opened withoutpermission. ● Even if it is checked that there is no electricity, cables should not be touched with bare hands. It should be kept in mind that anunauthorized person can power the cable at any time. WORKING WITH HAND TOOLS ● All hand tools should be used in places that are suitable for the purpose of production and by employees with adequateinstructions. ● When working with hand tools, goggles, ear protectors and if necessary dust masks should be used. ● Gloves should not be used when working with a drill. ● It is forbidden to use unprotected hand tools (spiral, rotary saw). If the field team detects the use of a tool without the protection, the team prevents the tool’s operation until the protection of the tool is mounted. ● Rotary hand saws should have a dust bag and should not release the dust during cutting. ● Hand tools should not be left in the corridor and booth area. When not in use, they must be unplugged and removed and kept ina safe area. ● The spiral machine must have a suitable sized cutting stone and the stone should have a protector. ● Necessary precautions should be taken to prevent the sparks produced during the use of the grinder. ● The use of planers and stationary circular saws is strictly prohibited. WELDING WORKS ● It is essential that no welding is made at the fair area. ● Bolts should be preferred to welding. However, if welding is the only option, welding connections and quality will be checked bythe OHS Team (Welding Engineer). ● In the fair area, only those who have “Welder” license are authorized to source. Non-certified people are strictly prohibited from welding. ● It is obligatory for companies that will perform welding and similar works to fill in a "Work Permit Form". ● Only electric arc welding is allowed in the fair area. The use of other types of welding is prohibited. ● Welding personnel must have the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (welder gloves, leather apron, welder glasses andvisor) and use them during work. ● Required measures should be taken to prevent a possible fire that may be caused by the sparks generated during welding. ● For front fixing, all safety measures related to tipping and falling should be taken in areas where spot welding is done. ● One 6 kg KKT Fire Extinguisher Tube must be kept in the working area. ● In case of a fire, it is recommended that the fire extinguisher tube is used by the personnel who have received "Basic Fire 12
Training" and who knows how to use it. ● Gas cutting operations are strictly prohibited in the fair area. ● The work carried out without taking the necessary security measures will be stopped. WORKING WITH CHEMICALS ● Using hazardous chemicals with flammable and explosive properties are not allowed in the field. ● If there is a chemical that must be used, the organizer should be informed with the MSDS Form. PAINTING WORKS ● The use of water-based paint is essential. ● Dust bags should be connected to the suction motors of the machines used for sanding before painting. No dust should be spilledaround. ● It is strictly forbidden to use alcohol and thinner-like chemicals for cleaning paint. WORKING WITH PRESSURIZED VESSELS ● It is forbidden to use gas cylinders in the fair area. ● It is forbidden to use open flames in the fair area. Heating should be done with electric heaters. ● The use of compressors is strictly prohibited except for portable hand compressors. WORKING AT HEIGHT ● Working in any place where there is a level difference and injury from falling is a possibility can be considered as "working at height". It is essential that assembly and similar works that are not mandatory to be done at height should be carried out firstlyand wherever possible in the ground. ● It is forbidden to work at a height by stepping on mounting lifts or forklifts. ● A full body harness should be used wherever possible when working at heights. WORKING ON THE LADDER ● For working up to 3 meters high, the use of a hand ladder in accordance with Turkish Standards is essential. ● Working with stairs is only possible on the ground floor. It is forbidden to work on the last two steps. ● Only 1 person at a time can work on the staircase. ● Workers should always face the ladder when climbing and descending. A worker on the floor must hold it so that it does not slideor topple over while working on or climbing up and down the ladder. ● If it is necessary to work with a ladder higher than 3 meters, it is essential that the ladder is fixed in some way to bear the full weight. WORKING ON A SCAFFOLD ● Personnel lifting equipment and/or scaffolds or platforms that conform to Turkish Standards should be used for works to becarried out over 3 meters. ● No hand tools and materials should be left on the scaffold. ● More than 1 person is forbidden to work on the pier. (If it is a wide and strong pier, after the inspection to be done by the fieldteam, second person can be allowed.) ● It is forbidden to work on scaffolds that have no handrails, missing cross links, and of which feet are not fixed. ● It should not be moved when there are people or materials on the scaffold. ● Scaffolding and hand ladders are only permitted working platforms. 13
WORKING WITH LIFTING TOOLS (HANDLING ACTIVITIES) ● A safe approach zone should be created for construction machines. The area to be lifted should be covered with safety strips,unrelated persons should be taken out of the area. ● Necessary safety precautions should be taken at the front and rear of the vehicle when carrying loads with a forklift on thecorridor. The truck must be prevented from entering the maneuvering area on foot. ● Only persons having “operator license” must use the machines. It is forbidden to get any other employees other than the operator on the construction equipment. ● Periodic checks of the construction machines that should be done at least once a year and service maintenance should becomplete. ● Before lifting, the operator should check the work equipment. ● No one should stand under the suspended load. ● When it is necessary to step on the load, working at height rules should be applied. There must be no employees working on thetransported and lifted load. ● It should not interfere with the load manually. If necessary, sufficient length guide ropes should be used. ● It is mandatory to use electric forklifts in the closed areas of the fair area. ● It is forbidden to carry more loads than the forklift and mobile crane carrying capacity in the fair area. The load should be balanced and should not obstruct the operator's view. ● In working with a mobile crane, a person must provide the necessary guidance on the field. The use of radio should be essentialfor the communication of the pointers with the operators. ● Only trained and competent people should do sling and pointing. ● No one should be in the forklift and mobile cranes’ working area and necessary safety measures should be taken. FIRE CABINETS AND EMERGENCY EXITS ● Fire Extinguishing System is available in all halls. There is a fire extinguisher cabinet in the fair area. ● The front of fire cabinets and fire extinguishers should not be blocked in any way, they should always be accessible. ● Emergency exits should always be accessible. No material should be stacked in front of and above them. ● It is essential to have ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher Tube in each booth. ● In emergency situations, the fire extinguisher cabinets should be open during the fair, especially during booth assembly and disassembly. The exhibitor cannot block fire cabinets under any circumstances. If the front of the fire cabinets is not left open as specified, this will be recorded before the notary public. In addition, any penalty that can be charged to MODERN FAIRS A.S. by the field operator will be charged to the exhibitor. The exhibitor is obliged to pay the penalty. Otherwise, MFAS can remove any materials standing in front of the fire cabinets instantly and is not responsible for any damage to the materials. During booth assembly, assembly officers shouldwork with fireproof and non-flammable materials. HEATED AIR WORKS ● Works to be done with hot air must be determined in advance. ● The Organizer will make the necessary inspections during the assembly and disassembly works. ● Companies that will use hot air guns must fill in the "Work Permit Form". ● Only electric hot air guns are allowed for hot air works in the fairground. ● Minimum one 6kg dry chemical powder extinguisher tube must be available in the areas to be worked with hot air. ● When a fire extinguisher is required, it is recommended to be used by personnel who have received “Basic Fire Training” and who know how to use a fire extinguisher. ELECTRICITY USAGE FOR 24 HOURS ● Companies that will use electrical appliances such as refrigerators and freezers in their booths must fill in the "Work Permit Form". ● Exhibitors whose Work Permit Form has been approved must also fill in a consent form at the Organizer's office in the fair area. ● The power cable and fuse board, which are requested to remain active for 24 hours, must be separated from the main supplycable. ● Fuse boards should be in an enclosed, insulated and easily accessible place. VIDEO WALL USAGE • Companies that will install Video Wall should upload their projects (Wiring, electricity usage, connection apparatus) to the system. • Companies that will install Video Wall must fill in “Job Permit Form”. • The floor of Video Wall systems should be supported with sandbags. • Sand bags should be placed at the back as much as the weight of the screen. • Metal connections should be welded properly. • In case of application in truss system, the mounting of the support platform legs must be done correctly. • Supervision will be carried out during the project control on the field. • During the fair, CO2 type fire extinguisher should be available. • When a fire extinguisher is required, it is recommended to be used by personnel who have received “Basic Fire Training” and who know how to use a fire extinguisher. LIVE MACHINE DEMO ● Companies that will make live machine demos are required to fill in the "Work Permit Form". ● All the machines and vehicles brought to be exhibited in the fair area should be located at a suitable point in the booth. Visitorspassing through the corridor should not face any risks due to them. The machine should not occupy the corridor area. ● Documents indicating that the machines and vehicles to be exhibited are in compliance with the standards should be immediately presented by the exhibitor. ● If it is planned to actively operate the machinery and vehicles, the necessary safety precautions below should be taken, as the machinery and vehicles will be based on compliance with safety regulations. (The issues of harming the environment and the people will be evaluated on site.) ● Access to moving parts must be completely blocked. ● Jamming, cutting, etc. Necessary security measures should be taken in the parts where the transactions are made. (Sensor etc.) ● Safe zone should be provided around the machine and vehicle. ● Out of control should be prevented. ● It should be used by qualified personnel. ● The consumption of hazardous materials in machinery, equipment and vehicles to be operated on their own, together and during the fair will be evaluated in accordance with the relevant regulations (fire, dangerous chemicals, dust, hygiene, etc.) and whether the working conditions can be met. In accordance with the final decision taken, a license will be issued. Machines without a license will be disabled. 15
● If necessary, the machines to be operated at the fair should be surrounded by a security tape and necessary security measures should be taken for visitors. ELECTRICAL INSPECTION Important: The power supply of the booth is turned off at 18:00 on the last day (12 May 2022). Boards ● In all booths, there will be a power distribution board. ● The energy cable will be provided by us up to the entry point of the electrical panels in all booths. The connection with theelectrical panels will be made by the electrical company that set up the booth with the plug-in system. ● All connection and additional points in the panels will be in an enclosed environment. ● If the panel has a metal body, the body and cover will be grounded. ● The fuses to be used in the panels must be compatible with the line power. 10A fuses should be used for lighting and 16A fusesfor sockets. ● The panel will have a three-phase fuse and a 30 mA Life Protection leakage current relay after the fuse. ● Three-phase users will have a suitable type of four-pole 0.3A Fire Protection leakage current relay at the main switch output, ifthe secondary lines use secondary leakage current. ● There must be an electrical panel on every machine brought to the area. It will be appropriate to put a 30mA leakage currentrelay on the panels or toroidal according to the condition of the power. ● Three-phase male socket will be used at the panel inlet feed point and female sockets will be used at the exit points. (All socketscan be mounted on the panel, panel type socket will be) ● Panel energy will be provided with a female three-phase plug and a male three-phase socket on the panel. ● The height of the panel should be at least 120 cm from the bottom of the panel. ● All cable cores of the panels will be ferrules and lugs so that they are not open. Ferrules and lugs must be tightened thoroughly. Cables ● Cables with NYY, NYM, TTR qualifications should be used. ● Cable with a minimum cross-section of 2x1.5 mm for lighting lines and a minimum of 3x2.5 mm for socket lines should be used. ● Silicon cable and halogen-free cable will be used in hot areas or areas at risk of fire. ● Cables will be selected according to the loads suitable for cable sections.Color coding of the cables will be appropriate. Color codes: ▪ Phase: Brown, black, gray ▪ Neutral: Blue ▪ Grounding: Yellow, green ● Joints shall be made in junction boxes or with shielded plug-in terminal blocks. ● If the cables used are damaged, operation will not be allowed. ● Extension cables should not be left exposed on the ground where vehicles in motion can damage them. ● When starting the booth assembly and during the flooring construction, the electrical cables under the floor should not be crushed, compressed and should be left accessible to intervene in any situation. 16
Lighting Fixtures ● All fixtures with metal bodies will be grounded. Fixtures should be mounted to maintain work safety. ● Necessary precautions (screwing etc.) should be taken to prevent them from falling in any shake. ● Cable entries to the armature connection terminal boxes must be made with a coupling. ● Cables used in LED strip lighting should be TTR-quality. 0.75 cord cable is not allowed. ● LED transformers will be placed in the panel or square junction box. ● It is forbidden to use old type lighting equipment like halogen, metal halide, sodium vapor, fluorescent, or CFL.The use of LED lighting fixtures is mandatory. Plug Sockets ● Sockets should be connected with a cable that has a minimum cross section of 2.5 mm. ● In places where there is a possibility of liquid spillage (kettle, etc.), there should be a lid on the sockets. ● Sockets on the floor should have lid on them and in rubber enclosure. ● Cable’s entry point into the socket must be fixed. Cable inner wires should not go out of the socket. Technical Personnel ● The people who will install the electrical installation must have a license and their licenses must be presented to us. ● The electricians of the decoratoring company that will make the booth connections must have the following qualifications. o CLASS 1 Electrician: Over 1250 kW, Electrical Engineer MYK document code; (VQA Qualification Name: Electrical Installer, those with Qualification (ISCO) level (6-7-8). o CLASS 2 Electrician: Between 500 kW-1250 kW, Electric Technical High School or Vocational School; (VQA QualificationName: Electrical Installer, those with Qualification (ISCO) level (5). o CLASS 3 Electrician: Up to 500 kW, those who have obtained a certificate of mastership as a result of the training provided by the Electricity Vocational High School or 3308 Apprenticeship and Vocational Education Law or (VQA Qualification (ISCO) Level (3) and Proficiency (ISCO) those with level (4). o GENERAL Electrician: (Non Electricity Authorized): (VQA Qualification Name: Those with Electricity Adequacy (ISCO) level (1) and Proficiency (ISCO) level (2).) ● Only 1st, 2nd and 3rd Class Electricians are authorized to sign the booth electrical control compliance form to open the booth'selectricity. ● Unauthorized people should never interfere with electrical work. ● Exhibitors should notify the Technical Office of the electrical connection request for all the equipment in their booths 2 weeks before the start of the fair. ● Circuits must be protected against sufficiently strong fuses or circuit breakers against overload, short circuit or grounding errors. ● Electricity will not be supplied to the booths in cases where the electrical power kW is declared incomplete, electrical panels arenot brought, grounding installation is not made or the connections are not prepared safely. ● Except for authorized personnel, energy opening process should not be done, cable with open end should not be left unattended. However, electricity will be supplied to the booths that have electrical installations installed in accordance with legal regulations. 17
PROJECT INSPECTION Booth Building Rules ● In the booths, the materials to be used in construction must be the same as the materials specified in the "Project MaterialInformation Form". Otherwise, the construction of the booth will not be allowed. ● Booths cannot be extended to common areas in any form and height. (Including flag, banners, etc.) ● The materials to be brought to the fairground for installation must be ready for installation (cut in the workshop, painted, with the proper size, etc.). Only hand tools can be used during the assembly stage in the fairground. ● Only steel construction is permitted as a carrier in double-decker booths. Other material uses are subject to special authorization. ● Single-story booths, whose height exceeds 4.50 meters, are subject to static control. ● The maximum booth height for all halls is 4.50 meters. ● It is obligatory that all single story booths have wooden or steel supports inside the vertical carriers. The carrier structures mustbe approved by the project audit unit. ● It is mandatory that horizontal elements higher than 3.66 m above the ground are steel or one piece of plank (min 5x10). ● It is obligatory that the booths are supported with a minimum of 20x20 cm columns up to 4 meters horizontally, 30x30cm columns 4-6 meters, and 40x40cm sizes 6-8 meters, so that the walls can stand alone. (Booths over 8 meters are subject to special permission.) ● The booths that are not approved statically by the Project Inspection Unit will not be allowed to be opened. ● The exhibitor with a higher booth than the adjacent one is obliged to cover the wall up facing the adjacent area with a fireproof, suitable color (white or black) canvas and make it look clean. ● In booth applications, it is forbidden to apply gypsum powder, gypsum plaster and surface sanding within the fair area. It is forbidden to perform wood cutting in closed areas without vacuum suction motor. ● Anything made with gypsum or cement-based boards and panels (cardboard, etc.) will not be allowed in the fair area. (Except plaster or cement-derived board or panel manufacturers.) ● If the exhibitor is a producer of gypsum or cement-derived boards or panels, they can build their booth with these materials provided that they are mounted outside or with the condition that they provide the production methodology and take them backand without any solid waste after the fair. ● Only water-based paint is allowed in the field. ● It is forbidden to use glass in all booths except for laminated glass. Tempered glasses should also be laminated. ● In all booths, the use of single piece of glass starting from the ground is limited to a maximum of 3 meters, and the use of pieceof glass is limited to a maximum of 2.5 meters. ● Glasses to be used in the booths should be at least 4+4 laminated glass. (Glass producers are subject to the permission they receive from the project consultants for the products they will exhibit.) ● The exhibitor is obliged to determine the selection and/or design of the materials to be displayed or used at their booth in a way that does not threaten the safety of his visitors. In addition, it is forbidden to use any device, balloon, zeppelin and drone used with volatile and flammable gases for demonstration and advertisement purposes. ● Glass cabinets made for product display must have plexi glass faces facing the corridor. ● Important: The exhibitor cannot pierce the floor of the rented area in the halls, use nail or staple nails, or Bally and similar adhesives. If the operator of the area imposes a fine on MODERN FAIRS A.S. due to the damages that may be imposed by the exhibitor on the floor of the fairground, the fee will be charged to the exhibitor. 18
Stairs ● Approval of the Project Inspection Unit is essential for stairs at two-story booths. If stairs that have not been approved are used, the construction of the 2nd floor of the booth will not be allowed. Features of the stairs: ● The frame of the stairs should be steel. ● There should be a 1.2 m x 1.2 m landing at the entrance and exit of the stairs. ● Doors should not be opened towards landings. ● The pier height between the two floors is between 15 and 17 cm and the ideal pier height for the 2nd floors, which is 2.80 and 2.50 high, is 16.5 cm. ● The depth of the steps between the two floors should be between 28 and 42.5 cm. ● The heights and depths of all the steps should be equal everywhere. ● The back of the steps should not be open. ● The width of the stairs between two floors should not be less than 1.2 meters. ● The use of spiral stairs is strictly prohibited. ● Anti-slip tape should be applied on stairs that may create slippery ground. Balustrades ● It is essential to install balustrades against falling on the open sides of areas such as stairs, landings, balconies, galleries, podiums. ● The balustrades should be 1.10 meters high, preferably completely gapless. ● In open balustrades, horizontal fittings should not be used, and the vertical fittings should not exceed 10 cm. ● For all open edges of stairs and ramps, a 110 cm high railing should be placed. (Except for disabled ramps) ● In open railings, a 10 cm high toe board should be used to prevent anything from falling down. ● It is strictly forbidden to use glass longer than 2.50 meters in gapless railings. You can get information about alternative productsfrom project consultants. Railings ● If the width of the stairs between the two floors is more than 2.4 m, a handrail should be placed in the middle line. ● There should be a fixed railing running continuously along the stairs and intermediate landings at 0.9 - 1.2 m height. Ramps ● Ramps should not be too steep for pedestrians and wheelchairs. It should have a slope proportional to the side and base height. ● This slope should remain in the booth and not extend into the corridor. ● In all booths with a floor elevation of 20 cm, a Disabled Ramp should be built in accordance with the regulations in force. ● Ramps should not be longer than 10 meters or higher than 50 cm. ● Ramps should have at least 1 meter unobstructed width. ● The surface of the ramp should be anti-slip, especially when wet. Getting Project Construction Permission • Exhibitors who do not have the Booth Project Construction Permit will not be allowed to install their booths. • Exhibitors that participate with no booth / Specially Designed Area, have to have their own booth decoration projects approved until April, 10, 2022, together with the static projects in terms of dimensions and compliance with the fair order. Booth projects should be dimensioned, scaled and submitted for approval in 3D. Modern Fairs has the right to approve or disapprove projects. It is the Exhibitor's responsibility to forward all materials to Modern Fairs for project approval. MODERN FAIRS A.S. is entitled not to take the Exhibitor who has never sent the booth project to OHS company, MODERN FAIRS A.S.. has the right to intervene, stop and demolish the exhibitors whose project has been sent to Modern Fairs A.S., but has not been approved or has been constructed against the approved project. The decision of MODERN FAIRS A.S.. and Project Approval Company in the fair area will be final. In order for Project Approval Company to approve the projects, all Exhibitors must sent their projects till April, 10, 2022. The exhibitors are obliged to read and apply all the rules on the same page. In addition, it is obligatory to have extra permission if there is going to be a cooking, 24 hours electricity, welding, glass use, pool or video wall. 19

Double story booths, carried on 8-channel aluminum carrier profiles 3. Wooden or tree-mounted double story booths Documents Required for the Project Permit: 1. Written Contract for the Project Liability 2. Written Contract for the Electrical Installation Liability 3. Written Contract for the OHS Liability 1- Written Contract for Project Liability Civil Engineer Approved: ● The contract must be signed by a civil engineer with a SIM Certificate. ● The SIM Certificate of the civil engineer, who signed the contract. ● Signature circular or declaration of the civil engineer who signed the commitment. ● This contract is for the identification of the civil engineer, who will take responsibility for the static resistance of the booth in fairconditions. Static Calculation ● Approved by SİM certified civil engineer in double story projects. 2- Electric Installation Liability Contract ● The contract must be signed by the decorator or its subcontractor. ● Signature Circular of the decorator or subcontractor who signed the commitment. ● This contract is for the determination of the company representative who will take the responsibility of the electrical installation of the booth. Documents Required for the Written Contract Electrical Plan i. Plan details should include the following information: ii. Location of electric panel, iii. Location and power of lightings, iv. Total electricity demand v. Cable Properties to be laid out 3- OHS Liability Contract ● The contract must be signed by the Decorator or Subcontractor. ● Signature circular of the decorator or subcontractor who signed the contract. ● This contract is a contract that will comply with the directives and scientific rules of the construction engineer who isresponsible for the decorator and contractor contractors who will sign the agreement and set up the booth. 20
Neighboring Booths and Closing the Booth’s Back The exhibitor with a higher booth than the adjacent one is obliged to cover the wall up facing the adjacent area with a fireproof, white canvas and make it look clean. The exhibitor cannot use any visual materials in the area created due to the height difference. If the closing is not done by the Exhibitor or if it is not closed properly, MODERN FAIRS A.S. imposes a penalty of 500 TL (including VAT) per square meter of the total booth area used. "50% of Island Booth Circles Should Be Open" Rule ● At least 50% of the total facades of the booths, which are surrounded on all four sides by visitor corridors, should be left open toallow visitors to enter the booth area. ● Exhibitors with booths in the form of an island should have a design that allows at least 50% of open facades so that they canput on display materials that will not interfere with walls and/or visibility. ● As 'Wall', only transparent laminated glass, plexi glass or any other material that does not obstruct 100% vision will be allowed. ● Other permitted alternatives for the other 50% are listed below: - 50% frosted stripes (horizontal or vertical) - 50% top and bottom frosted stripes - 50% of a design can be circle, square, wave, etc. And only glass with laminated or plexiglass properties will be allowed. Booth Dismantling / Disassembly Operations ● The exhibitor must remove all booth materials from the fairground until May, 14, 2022, 12:00noon. ● When the dismantling period is completed, the booth area should be clean and neat. ● Exhibitors should leave the booth areas neat to get moving out approval when the dismantling period expires. In addition, theymust have the Booth Area Handover Report approved by MODERN EXHIBITION officials. SOLID WASTE (CONSTRUCTION WASTES LIKE RUBBLE-WOOD-IRON, etc.) The exhibitor must remove all booth materials from the fairground until 14 May, 2022, 12:00noon. When the dismantling period is completed, the booth area should be neat. The disposal and expenses of rubble, drywall and all other solid wastes are the responsibility of the exhibitor. The exhibitor is fully responsible for any costs, payments, penalties, damages and losses that may arise. No responsibility can be imposed on MODERN FAIRS A.S. All damages that may occur on open and closed grounds will be covered by the exhibitors. They should leave the booth areas neat to get moving out approval when the dismantling period expires. In addition, they must have theBooth Area Handover Report approved by MODERN FAIRS A.S. officials. BOOTH TYPES No Booth - Specially Designed Area MODERN EXHIBITIONS will measure the booth areas of all exhibitors, mark the corner points on the floor in the fair area and deliver them to the Exhibitor properly. However, each Exhibitor must obtain confirmation from MODERN FAIRS A.S. about the location of installation channels, fire extinguisher cabinets, etc. in the booth area. When starting the booth assembly and during the flooring construction, the electrical cables under the floor should not be crushed, compressed and should be left accessible to intervene in anysituation. The exhibitor must prepare the booth project by taking the technical details into account. (You can send an e-mail to info@modernfuarcilik.com.tr for scaled booth floor layout information) The Approval Letter of “Booth Project is Suitable for Installation” Exhibitors participating in the fair with no booth - specially designed area must have sent their projects to the Authorized Project Supervision Team until April, 10, 2022 and receive the approval letter. Exhibitors who have not obtained this approval for their project and / or have not fulfilled the desired changes in the projects cannot bring materials to the fairground. Despite the approval, the project will be requested to be changed in every negative situation detected in the area. (see Process of Getting Project Consent) 22
