All cancellations must be made in writing. If LSCA has to cancel the event, our liability in the event of cancellation is limited to a full refund of the fee.

JUNE CHARITY ESSENTIALS Wednesday, 13 June Park Royal Stretton 13:30 - 16:30 Speaker: Sally Knight The seminar will focus on accounting, reporting, assurance and governance matters, and will also be relevant for charity staff and Trustees with a particular interest in, or responsibility for, financial reporting in their organisation. We will explore the impact of new guidance and regulations already in force as well as looking ahead to help you and your charity clients prepare for key developments which will need consideration in the following months PROPERTY TAX ESSENTIALS Wednesday, 13 June Park Royal Stretton 09:30 – 12:30 Speaker: Rebecca Benneyworth This course will look at all of the issues affecting clients investing in property – both residential and commercial. It will review income and corporation tax issues, SDLT on residential property, VAT issues in relation to commercial property, the availability and effective use of capital allowances and any developments which will affect client in 2018. The course will serve both as a refresher and an update for those attending.

VAT UPDATE Wednesday, 21 November Mercure Hotel, Haydock 09:30-12:30 Speaker: Rebecca Benneyworth This course will serve as a VAT update, picking up on Revenue & Customs briefs issued in the 24 months before the course, and key Tribunal and other court decisions. The remainder of the course will look at current issues cropping up in practice, plus a refresh on some of the more tricky aspects of VAT including opting to tax, transfer of going concern and other property related issues. The latest position on MTD for VAT will also be covered.
