The organisation, in consultation with Commissaire President, reserve the right to amend the schedule should circumstances dictate. All riders will be informed as soon as possible should circumstances require any alterations to the published schedule. OFFICIAL TEAM TRAINING SCHEDULE The track will be available for official team training on Tuesday 10 December, Wednesday 11 December and Thursday 12 December. The UCI will schedule an allocated time for each team between 9:00 and 19:30 during these three days. On competition days, the track will be open 2 hours before races start and close 10 minutes before race starts. In between competition sessions, when possible, the track will be open for warm up session 1 hour before the start of the competition session (for rider competing in the next session only) and close 10 minutes before race starts. Teams will be able to hire the velodrome in the two weeks prior to the event for training sessions by emailing Louise Jones at track@cycling.org.au OFFICIAL MEETINGS Confirmation of starters Date: Thursday 12 December Time: 10:00 – 12:00 Place: Anna Meares Velodrome Function Room (accessible via lift or stairs) Team managers must confirm all starters, present all licences and provide a sample of team kit (this is not included all World Championship designs. Team Managers meeting Date: Thursday 12 December Time: 18:00 Place: Anna Meares Velodrome Function Room Rider numbers will be distributed at the Team Managers meeting. This meeting is compulsory for: - UCI Technical Delegate - UCI Commissaires - Team managers 6
- UCI Doping Control Officer - Event Director - Competition Manager - Event Manager - Race Doctor We request a maximum representation of two people per team attend this meeting. 7
EVENT INFORMATION ACCREDITATION Accreditation will be available at the Anna Meares Velodrome upon arrival for the first time as per official team lists. Access to collect Accreditation is via the Accredited Entrance. Accreditation is open from Tuesday 10 December till Thursday 12 December from 08.00 till 20.00. On competition days from 08.00 till end of racing. All personnel will be required to carry accreditation to access the venue. Please ensure you keep visible your accreditation badge whenever entering or leaving the track centre as security personnel will not allow you access without it. The organisation reserves the right to accept or refuse all accreditation requests. You are responsible for the safe keeping of your accreditation. If your pass is lost or stolen, please inform the Accreditation team immediately. There will be a $30 AUD charge for replacing accreditation. Any abuse of the system such as passing your accreditation to another person will be reported to the UCI and your accreditation may be withdrawn. Accreditation access zones are defined as follows: ∞ = All Areas 1 = General Entry 2 = Media 3 = Activity Zone (infield) 4 = Competition Zone (track) 5 = Performance Analysts Please respect these designations. Please do not argue with the stewards and security personnel who have been instructed to maintain access control as designated by the event management. Any abuse towards stewards/security will not be tolerated and all incidents will be reported immediately to the UCI. MEDIA ACCREDITATION For all media accreditation, please visit https://brisbanetrackworldcup.com/media/ Media accreditation can be collected from the accreditation office. Accreditation is open from Tuesday 10 December till Thursday 12 December from 08.00 till 20.00. On competition days from 08.00 till end of racing. Photographers bib to access the apron will be distributed by the Press Chief located in the media area one hour prior to the first session on each day. Safety regulations on track will be communicated onsite to all media having access to the apron. ACCESS TO THE VENUE Riders and team staff must use the accredited entry to access the venue on all days of the event, including training days. Access will be open during training days from 08:00 to 20:00, and from 08:00 until one hour after the last race or awards ceremony during competition days. 8
RIDER NUMBERS Rider numbers will be distributed on Thursday 12 December at 18:00 in the Team Managers meeting. Please note rider numbers are not washable, therefore please ensure that numbers are removed before clothing is washed. START LIST AND RESULTS _ COMMUNIQUÉS All communiqués will be published on www.tissottiming.com and displayed in the infield. Copies of start list and results will be available in the infield for teams. AWARD CEREMONY The winners are obliged to be in time for the victory ceremony. It is not allowed to wear caps or sunspecs during the ceremony. TEAM PRIZE MONEY PAYMENTS The prize money will be paid via Electronic Funds Transfer to the representative of the winning teams by Cycling Australia. Payment forms can be collected by Team Managers from the Accreditation Centre and must be returned by 20.00 on the final day of competition. BROADCASTING Broadcast production will be executed by JAMTV Australia. Channel 7 has been appointed as the broadcast partner for the Tissot UCI Track Cycling World Cup 2019. The races will be broadcast live on 7plus and replayed on a televised channel later in the evening. 9
LOST PROPERTY Any lost property should be handed to the nearest security guard, steward to event management personnel. Lost property will be stored and recorded in the accreditation centre. 10

The service will be available starting in the morning of the first official day of training, Tuesday 10 December. Schedule will be posted at the hotels, permanence and accreditation office. ATHLETE MEALS Teams are provided with a meal plan when they book their accommodation with CSE and have the option of full board or just breakfast. The meals are buffet style, rider-friendly, and dining times run in line with the training and competition schedule to allow plenty of time to dine. On competition days teams are offered the choice to of hotel buffet or box lunches to take with them to the track. There are no food outlets at the velodrome. At the aquatic centre, 5min walk from velodrome, there is a café that is opened daily from 7.30 till 18.00. Brisbane's metropolitan area has a population of approximately 2.5 million, and the South East Queensland metropolitan region, centred on Brisbane, encompasses a population of more than 3.6 million. Brisbane has a subtropical climate with warm or hot weather for most of the year. Brisbane’s climate is very sunny, with around 2,800 hours of sunshine annually. VENUE INFORMATION VELODROME The Tissot UCI Track Cycling World Cup 2019-2020 will take place between 15 and 18 December 2019 at: Anna Meares Velodrome Sleeman Sports Complex Tilley Road Chandler QLD 4155 Phone: +61 7 3390 1477 Website: www.annamearesvelodrome.com Email: qld.info@cycling.org.au The Anna Meares Velodrome, the home of track cycling in Brisbane, Queensland. The Velodrome was designed by COX Architects in Queensland and opened in November 2016. Purposely built for the 2018 Commonwealth Games, the stadium can house up to 1500 spectator, and expand to accommodate a further 2000 spectators. There are several events held at the Anna Meares Velodrome throughout the year including Track National Championships, Queensland National Championships, as well as Cycling Queensland Club’s Events. CHARACTERISTICS OF TRACK Length: 250m Width: 8m Surface: Siberian Spruce Bend: 77.5m, maximum 43.9° Straight: 30m Circumference at the fence: 215m internal, 289m external Climatic conditions at the race dates Average temperatures: 21 min, 29 max TEAM PARKING Due to another event being held on the same weekend as the TISSOT UCI Track Cycling World Cup within the Sleeman Sports Complex, spectator parking will not be possible at the venue. An alternate off-site parking area is available with shuttle buses used to transport spectators to and from the venue. Further information to follow. Accredited parking is limited. Teams requiring on-site parking for event days are to request a parking pass from the Accreditation Centre during official training and competition days. Team parking will be located within carpark P1 (see parking map). SPECTATOR PARKING Spectator parking will be available at the below locations for the following sessions: Friday - Day Session: Parking available within Sleeman Sports Complex - Evening Session: Parking available within Sleeman Sports Complex 14
Saturday - Day Session: Spectators required to park at Westfield Carindale and catch the event shuttle bus to the venue - Evening Session: Parking available within Sleeman Sports Complex Sunday - Day Session: Spectators required to park at Westfield Carindale and catch the event shuttle bus to the venue. - Evening Session: Parking available within Sleeman Sports Complex TEAM PENS Each team will be allocated to a team box within the track infield to use as a preparation area. The sizing of the team box will be dependent on the number of participants in the team. Space is limited, so please keep to your allocated area. To ensure the track centre can be cleared quickly and safely in an emergency, please ensure equipment does not narrow or block walkways. STORAGE ROOM Teams will be allocated to a storage area for their spare equipment. Storage areas are allocated to teams according to the number of riders entered. The storage area is located on the lower ground floor. The storage area will be monitored by security but you are asked to be vigilant ensuring the security of your equipment. It is possible to leave equipment in the infield at your own risk. Please use your own chains and cables to ensure your equipment is secure. There will be roaming security in place. ACCESS TO SEATING FOR TEAM PERSONNEL Rider accreditation will allow access to the concourse level. All athletes and team officials must wear their accreditation to access the concourse. DOPING CONTROL Anti-doping controls may be carried out at any time. The doping control room is located on the ground level in the Anna Meares Velodrome, adjacent to Accreditation. Anti-doping controls will be carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations of the UCI and Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority. In the case of doping control, the rider will be accompanied by a chaperon to the doping control room. The chaperon will be easily recognisable. RIDER ICE BATHS The LOC will not supply ice baths. It is the responsibility of the teams to supply ice baths. A room can be provided for ice baths on request, please contact the facility manager via +61 402 198 582 to arrange. TEAM CHANGE ROOMS There are male and female changing rooms, including shower facilities available in Anna Meares Velodrome. 15
WATER The event team are focused on reducing the amount of single use plastics at the event, therefore there will be refill stations available for teams to access in the infield. We strongly encourage teams and staff to fill their own re-usable bidons and bottles at these filling stations. However, some limited bottled water will be provided on request via the athlete services team to team managers. INFIELD AND CONCOURSE MAP 16

PARKING MAP VENUE EVACUATION If an evacuation of the building is required, please follow the instructions of the security and stewards. Please exit the building calmly and quickly and gather near P1. It is important that you do not attempt to remove equipment during the evacuation as that can obstruct and reduce the free flow of people exiting the building. SECURITY Control of personnel and spectator movement within the venue will be carried out by security personnel. The security personnel will control access to important locations including: - Track centre - VIP Area - Media Centre - Team Storage - Team pens - Competition areas 18
Please respect all instructions from security personnel and stewards. The Security Manager is responsible for security and safety issues. If you have any concern for security or safety please refer them to the nearest security guard or event management. 19
MEDICAL & EMERGENCY RIDER SAFETY Riders must always wear a helmet whilst on the track. The use of personal stereo equipment whilst riding on the track is forbidden. Whilst on the roads remember to not ride on the freeways and keep to the left of the road in Australia. After dark you will require a front and rear light fitted to your bike and it is mandatory in Australia to wear a bicycle helmet. Red traffic signals mean ‘stop’ and must be followed. Ensure you adhere to all road signals and do not ride on the footpath, this is illegal and may result in a fine. Please make sure you carry your ID with you when outside of the venue. TEAM MEDICAL A team of first aid providers will be present throughout official training and competition. The team will be based in the track centre during training and racing. During training days, a doctor and paramedics will be available 30 minutes prior to the start of training (08:00) and one hour post training (20:30). During competition days, paramedics will be available at all times when the track is open to athletes for warm-up and competition. A doctor will only be available during competition hours.
