Friday 11 February – Friday 1 April 2022

During the term children typically work within the
framework of 1 or 2 themes. Themes range from por-

commence with drawing skills and direct observation
drawing is encouraged whenever possible.
After working on drawing skills children will move into
colour work exploring the subject through watercolour
painting and colour pencil. Emphasis is placed on paint
handling and learning about colour. At times children
will have the opportunity to work in mixed media with
materials provided from the teacher (pastels, collage
