AD – Input Francois AD-CONS: Green light for the extraction of BHW21 from HW tests schedule point of view. An ECR is under preparation. ELENA: All lines installed (except some SEM’s). Cabling started Experiments: ATRAP announced they will not restart in 2021. Reallocation of space between other experiments started.
North Area -Inputs from Sylvain TCC2: BDF T6 removal intervention weekly planning (EN-STI) • Monday 20th: transport robots and equipment, wheels installation + first robot tests (RP + HE + MRO + STI) • Tuesday 21st: robot tests (RP + MRO + STI) • Wednesday 22nd: robot tests (RP + MRO + STI) • Thursday 23rd: top shielding removal, target (80 mSv/h) installation on the support and remove draining screw (RP + HE + MRO + STI) • Friday 24th: unbolt all screws from the downstream flange and remove it (RP + HE + MRO + STI)
North Area - Inputs from Sylvain
• PPE172 :
• PPX 172 déplacé: Grillage a remettre en place
• PPE132 :
• PPX 132 a déplacer pour run ion, et blindage de la zone a modifier (layout
a faire)
• CEDAR-N installation vers January H2-132 (date exacte tbd) ;
• PPE112:
• Petite modification vacuum H4 (PPE112), deposer de BBS vieux et remplacer par vaccuum (pas
urgent, mais a planifier) ;
• TCC8:
• Ouverture du double mur de séparation to be done (for beam line maintenance XTAX)
• TT82-shielding: Relocalisation à prévoir pour un AUG ->EN-EL. Job ouvert pour fabrication –
installation des cales pente et modification des chambres a vide.
• Zone 118 et 128 (Alexander) : problème, avec faisceau électrons : investigation. ligne vide
démontée. Chambres à vide désalignées(?)
- M2: Muon_e sur M2 : a faire une estimation du temps d’installation / desinstallation du
faisceau M2 depuis XCED 083 a QWL 122 (44m)New SPS-PPS access control system in NA
operational (BA80, 81, TCC8, ECN3) – Inputs
Fabrice
- All temporary and compensatory measures in place
to access TCC8 and ECN3 during installation have
been removed
- Work to connect to EIS planned in 2020 (March for
BA80 & test in April -> access perturbated in April).
Planning to be rechecked soon with BE-ICS for
BA81, TCC8 & ECN3.

TCC8
• Installation finished in December (20th!)
• Door linings to be modified
• An electronic card blown up during reception
tests. Replaced one later.
• Safety: Apave tests OK (Friday 17th)
• Commissioning with AS company Monday
20th at the latest .
