                                                                                      whilst the annual Dress of the Year selection
                                                                                      shines a spotlight on contemporary fashion.
                                                                                      Continuing until March 2020 is Glove Stories,
                                                                                      where exquisite, historical gloves are interlaced
                                                                                      with our headline exhibition. From 28 March
                                                                                      the Museum will be exploring the story of
                                                                                      footwear with more than 100 pairs of shoes
                                                                                      on display as part of its Shoephoria! exhibition.
                                                                                      The Collection Stories gallery and Fashion
                                                                                      Focus displays will continue to offer an exciting
                                                                                      look behind the scenes of the Museum’s
                                                                                      outstanding collection.
                                                                                      Visitors can also create their own period outfit
                                                                                      from the replica dressing-up items, based on
                                                                                      the Museum’s collection.
                                                                                      The accompanying events programme
                                                                                      offers creative workshops, family activities
                                                                                      and special one-off experiences.
