GLAM SPIRIT AND CLASSIC VALUES Launched recently by De Rigo, the new Trussardi sunglasses collection stands for exclusiveness, glam spirit and elegance – classic Trussardi values. The collection combines classic lines with irregular shapes and neutral hues with exclusive acetate textures, using materials such as aluminium and carbon. Model STR 176 (pictured) features a new trim inspired by the Trussardi Bags of inspirations with Trussardi Lovy Bag. The easy-to-wear shape is embellished with an exclusive new Mazzucchelli acetate. GRAND MASTERS CELEBRATED Danish designers Ørgreen have launched a new capsule sunglass collection that celebrates two of the grand masters of modern architecture: Eero Saarinen and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The spirit of these architectural masters is translated into two distinct sun styles: a rounded rectangular frame for men (Mies), and a round frame for women (Eero). Both come in a variety of colour combinations, from monochrome frames in Matt Navy and Sandblasted Honey Gold to multicoloured frame fronts, echoing the subtle colour-blocking of high modernist architecture. Ørgreen’s trademark Japanese titanium frames further invoke an architectural sensibility in the designs that are clean, simple and elegant.
