SUNWEAR LENS THAT’S ULTRA-INTELLIGENT
Now available from Lenstec Optical Group, Invu ultra polarised lenses
represent the next generation in polarised lens technology, says the company.
Described as an “intelligent, multi-layer light management system”,
Invu polarised lenses are made of nine-layers that selectively filter out
reflected glare and offers clear, glare-free vision with high contrast and
“exceptional” colour perception.
The ultra-polariser layer removes the glare, while the colour enhancement Invu polarised sunwear
layer boosts contrasts and colour perception. The UV protection layer blocks
all UV rays up to 400nm while allowing useful light to pass through to the eye.
Lenstec’s 2018 Rx programme benefits from all of the normal polarised
lens types driven by NuPolar technology across all indices including CR39,
Trivex, polycarbonate and high index. Polarised material options include a
new polarised photochromic called Infinite Grey 35-9 percent LTF.

GRAND MASTERS CELEBRATED
Danish designers Ørgreen have launched a new capsule sunglass collection
that celebrates two of the grand masters of modern architecture: Eero
Saarinen and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.
The spirit of these architectural masters is translated into two distinct
sun styles: a rounded rectangular frame for men (Mies), and a round frame
for women (Eero). Both come in a variety of colour combinations, from
monochrome frames in Matt Navy and Sandblasted Honey Gold to
multicoloured frame fronts, echoing the subtle colour-blocking of high
modernist architecture.
Ørgreen’s trademark Japanese titanium frames further invoke an
architectural sensibility in the designs that are clean, simple and elegant.

Next month’s Product Spotlight will focus on contact lenses and Eero by
