Foreword On behalf of the Centre of Nurse and Midwifery Education (CNME) Mayo/Roscommon team we are delighted to present the Diary of Learning Events (DOLE) for September 2020 to December 2020. The CNME supports the delivery of education in counties Mayo and Roscommon and is committed to providing educational excellence. This year there will be some changes to the way we deliver our education programmes with some taking place online and some in CNME Castlebar and the Arts Centre, Roscommon. To ensure social distancing rules associated with Covid-19, maximum numbers attending the Centres has been reduced. In developing this Diary we have endeavoured to reflect the ethos of Sláintecare with a focus on community and integrated care across the lifespan. All programmes/learning events facilitated by the CNME have received Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Category 1 approval and allocated Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The CNME supports nurses and midwives in the provision of education to enable quality, safe patient/client care delivery. The CNME team look forward to continuing to build collaborative partnerships and new ways of working as we progress local, regional and national education agendas for the professions of nursing and midwifery during these challenging times. I wish to advise that CNME, Mayo/Roscommon is implementing the National Digital Classroom Management System (On Line Booking System). This is an exciting new venture which will allow registered nurses midwives to register for programmes delivered by the CNME using an automated booking process. The Classroom management system will be live on HSELanD Learning Management System form January 2021. Finally, I would like to thank the CNME team (listed below) for their on-going support and dedication for Nurse and Midwifery Education in Mayo and Roscommon and for their rapid response to delivery of Covid-19 related education and training.
