DELAWARE VALLEY VETERANS HOME Five Star Rated 7 consecutive Years Dec 2021 2701 SOUTHAMPTON RD PHILADELPHIA PA 19154 DVVH & SEVC attended the city of Philadelphia’s 7th Annual Veterans Day Parade where members held the American Flag during the opening ceremonies. With more than 150 organizations involving over 7,000 participants and 30 Veteran Service Organizations, the Philadelphia Veterans Parade is always a celebration to remember.

Major General Mark J. Schindler, The Adjutant General of Pennsylvania , Robert Irvine a world class chef, fitness authority, and philanthro- pist. A tireless supporter of our veterans, and Jignesh “Jay” Pandya of Newtown and Owner of Boston Market served a wonderful Veterans Day Lunch to our residents and family mem- bers. The food was cooked and donated by Robert & Jay!!! Also pictured is our oldest Veteran Russ Dahlburg at 102 and the young- est National Guard member 20 years old.
The Ladies from Zeta Phi Beta in Philadelphia conducted a fund raiser for DVVH, they filled a trunk with sneakers for Vets. Thank you Ladies for a “Job Well Done” https://nephillyzetas.org/
November was a great month with very mild weather. Veterans Day was a huge event with a Boston Market lunch sponsored by Robert Irvine, Restau- rant Impossible star and Jignesh “Jay” Pandya owner of Boston Markets. We also had several staff from Ft. Indiantown Gap including Mark J. Schindler, The Adjutant General. The event was held outdoors and it was a beautiful sunny day.
