z New Technology Opportunity All students will be issued IPADs next school year Naviance App Expectation: Use Naviance for college process as well as receive notices and participate in surveys submitted by the Counseling office Counselors will meet with Seniors in groups and also individually regarding the college process. z TSI Testing at South All juniors should have taken the TSI Reading, Writing & Math scores will be used for placement in College Prep Math & College Prep English for Senior Year Retesting for Juniors for TSI: week of May 24 This testing is for juniors who received a letter telling them they were not college ready in either Math/Reading only Achieving College Ready scores will allow you to take Dual Credit your senior year Achieving College Ready scores ensures that you're ready for freshman level classes at college

z Recommendation Letters Only request a recommendation letter if your college requires one. Check on your college website or Naviance Request letter at least 2 weeks before due date and be specific about why you need it (admissions, scholarships) You may make requests in Naviance. Request letters from people who know you well Colleges prefer letters from Teachers vs Counselors unless your counselor knows you very well. Provide a senior brag sheet (resume) along with the request Send a Thank you!
