Healthy feet are important for feeling good and staying active, so logically it is necessary to take care of them. Beyond basic foot hygiene, stretching and strengthening our feet is important when it comes to avoiding pain, injury and falls. Most foot exercises are simple and require no complicated equipment. They can be done as part of a regular exercise routine or perhaps the beginning of creating an exercise program just in time for spring. Join Debbie, aka FitDeb, for a 30- minute virtual workshop about The Feet, Wednesday, March 17, 4:30 p.m. This is the first in a four-part series of workshops. Future topics will include pelvis, shoulders & neck, and the glutes. The cost for the full series is $16. Workshops will be recorded and available to those who register in advance. Call the Senior Center at 530-757-5626 to register or sign up online. Have a sturdy chair, a tea towel and a tennis or lacrosse ball available to enhance your experience.
