Inclusive Education Update Greetings parents and guardians for this mid-term update. Students have settled back into classes and are into their weekly routines again while we head rapidly towards the end of the year. Support plan meetings will also be happening in the next few weeks so transition goals can be discussed for next year. This term there has been a new ‘Kit-Kat Club’ in my room in the library every Friday first lunch. This is where any students can ‘have a break’ and construct model kits away from the noisy playground in a small group setting. I demonstrate and supervise the building of plastic model kits which develops student’s skills at reading and following instructions, helps their fine motor skills and also makes them build up their patience levels while having fun with this niche hobby. They are finding building model kits a bit more challenging than the much easier and popular Lego kits! Have a good weekend!
