PREPARING FOR YOUR FUTURE SAT PREP! (Grades 11-12) Driver’s Education Course Teachers: Becky Pride, English instructor, and Instructor: Bartley’s Driving School Doug Pride, Math instructor This driver’s education course is licensed by the State of Maine, The purpose of these preparatory courses is to familiarize the with 30 hours of classroom work and 10 hours of driving. YOUTH ENRICHMENT West African Drumming Babysitter’s Training Grades 3-6 NEW! Ages 11–14 Instructor: John Marlowe Instructor: Gail Platts Learn about the culture of the Malinke people from Sub-Sahara Children will learn about the responsibilities of becoming Guinea, West Africa through traditional songs, and drumming on a baby-sitter. Topics include the business of babysitting, the djembe and dununs. emergency procedures and basic first aid, child care, amusement of children and more. Upon completion of this Tuesdays, January 14 - February 25 course, participants will receive American Red Cross Babysitting (No class February 4 or 18) certification.
