The Big Picture: What is Happening? Let’s look at the data - As discussed in the last info session, Italy has been 10 days ahead of the US in terms of the shape of its ‘daily new cases’ chart - What does this tell us about what may happen next? While the dynamics in each country are much different, Italy’s curve may signal that we are 10-14 days away from starting to stabilize the number of new cases per day in the US Testing, testing, testing - The US has been slow to provide testing and supplies to hospitals, which means the number of cases reported may be severely understated - Without serious mitigation, experts estimate our healthcare system will be overwhelmed by late April and our death totals will reach 200,000+ Americans
NYC: What is Happening? Are we making progress? Update: One-Time Payments We are providing additional cash assistance opportunities through a combination of one-time cash payments Severance Hardship Continuing Recovery Payment Funds Education Rebate $12,500 being awarded $7,250 being awarded Issued as a bonus $1,200 payments for to all team members on April 3rd to 20 when reinstated individuals; $500 for on April 17th - $50 to team members children $325 per person

Recovery Rebate Are you eligible? • $1,200 per adult; $2,400 for married couples; $500 per child (age 17 or younger) • Rebates will be based on most recent tax filings (2018 or 2019) • Eligibility considerations: must have a Social Security Number; cannot be claimed as a dependent; must be current with federal student loan payments and child support payments Keep in mind - how much you receive will be reduced proportionately if: • You filed as single and earned more than $75,000 • You filed as married and earned more than $150,000 How will you receive the payment? • Sent via direct deposit if you used this method for your recent tax returns • Potential option to file a simple tax return online with your direct deposit info Examples: • If no one claims you as a dependent and you file your own taxes, you would receive the $1,200 individual rebate • If you filed for yourself and a child, you would receive $1,700 • If you filed as a married couple and you have two children, you would receive $3,400 Estimate your rebate: https://grow.acorns.com/coronavirus-stimulus-checks-calculator/
Expanded Unemployment Benefits Who is covered under the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA)? • COVID-19 impacted workers: unemployed, partially employed • Broadly defined to include: self-employed, freelancers, gig workers, and others who typically do not qualify for unemployment benefits What will you receive? • Your typical weekly benefit rate (if eligible) AND • $600 additional PUA through July 31st, 2020 (all covered workers) • Extension of UI benefits through December 31st, 2020 if still unemployed Examples: • You started working with us in September 2019. You work 15 hours per week and earn $540 per paycheck. You qualify for unemployment benefits and your weekly benefit rate is $104. With the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, you would receive $704 per week. • You started working with us in January 2020. You work 8 hours per week and earn $320 per paycheck. You would not have qualified for unemployment, but with the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, you would receive $600 per week. First payments will be issued April 5th, 2020

Depends on whether you are already approved, not yet approved, or have already exhausted your benefits. What if you are approved late? How Else Can You Expect Financial Relief? Federal Student Loan Deferrals Payments deferred until Sept. 30th, 2020 with no interest Delayed 2019 Tax Filings & Payment Tax filings and payment deadlines pushed to July 15th, 2020
