6 Control panel CP1 | Safety-related characteristics in accordance with ISO 25119:2018 Use in safety-related functions ▶ The customer is responsible for performing a risk analy- sis of the tractor and determining the possible tractor safety functions. ▶ It is the customer’s responsibility to evaluate the com- plete safety-related system and to determine the suit- ability of CAN CP1 for any tractor safety functions. – CAN CP1 as a single component fulfills the require- ments of ISO 25119:2018 AgPL a, restricted by DC=“low”. However, if used as part of a Cate- gory 2 machine safety-related system, it is capable to support a safety level up to AgPL c (e.g. a higher system level DC is reached via the rest of the safety- related system). – The reaction of the CAN CP1 in failure detection is “sending error messages via CAN or no sending of CAN messages”. The CAN CP1 shall not be used if this cannot support the safe state of the tractor safety functions. – The CAN CP1 fault response times are listed in table 2. The CAN CP1 shall not be used if the response time is determined to be insufficient for the tractor safety functions. ▶ The machine control system must monitor the CAN messages and react to failure messages and loss of messages by bring the machine into the safe state. ▶ An efficient field observation process shall be estab- lished by the customer. Any field failures involving the CAN CP1 should be immediately notified to Bosch Rexroth, even if it is not covered by warranty. Bosch Rexroth AG, RD 95255/2021-08-31
