WELCOME TO B O S C H E D N AL Boschendal provides an idyllic and natural setting for any function or event. Surrounded by the breathtaking Groot Drakenstein and Simonsberg mountains you will find many function venues to choose from enabling you to tailor your special event. Boschendal is located in the centre of Franschhoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch. We are only 45 minutes drive from Cape Town City Centre and 40 minutes drive from Cape Town International Airport. Up to 180 guests can be accommodated across the farm in luxury cottages. All of our functions are catered in-house by Executive Chef, Allistaire Lawrence and his team. Our farm-to-table menus use only the best quality seasonal ingredients sourced from our fields, gardens and local like-minded suppliers. We raise our own award-winning Black Angus cattle, acorn-fed pigs, free-range chickens and harvest most of our vegetables from the organic Werf Food Garden. Kind Regards Boschendal Events Team

exquisite mountain views. This secluded venue with its eighteen two bedroom self-catering cottages,
communal boma and natural swimming pool offers everything including a state of the art indoor
screening room. It is ideal for conferencing, team building and strategic executive breakaways.

THE OLIVE PRESS
The Olive Press with its exposed natural poplar roof trusses, floor to ceiling glass doors and
stunning views over meadow gardens and Groot Drakenstein Mountains make for a picturesque
conference.The double volume space is the perfect combination of contemporary and organic.
The hall covers an area of 340m²and can be divided into two smaller rooms if required.
Up to 150 guests can be seated inside depending on the required layout. A further 80 guests
can be seated in the adjoining covered outdoor veranda, weather permitting. To accommodate
larger groups a marquee can be placed on the Olive Press lawn (not supplied by venue).

Join a farm tour or explore the estate on foot, following trails that take you through orchards and mountain fyn-
bos. There are mountain biking routes, walking paths, caves to explore, wine tasting, cellar tours, swimming in the
dams and plenty of opportunities to sit, read, relax and generally take in the goodness of life.
P R I VAT E P I C N I C S Our classic Boschendal picnic is located at the Rhone Lawns, the wine-making and wine-tasting hub of Boschendal. The Rhone Rose Garden seated picnic site has spectacular mountain views and is surround- ed by the exhibition vineyards, the Rhone Homestead, the Cellar Door and our Winery. Next to the main Werf and farm-to-table food hub under the trees lies a more relaxed affair, the Werf Farm Picnic site. The Werf Picnic site focuses on lazing about and enjoying the wholesome farm produce and Boschendal wines on offer. 250 PAX Our two picnic areas are ideal for more casual, picnic-style functions. WERF FARM PICNIC The Werf Picnic with its pavilion and fountain provides an idyllic and picturesque setting. Relax under the trees on bean bags or blankets. This is a partial service area.
