Dear Colleagues, This is happening. It’s a new year and we hope that you are as excited as the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the American Optometric Student Association (AOSA) are to embark on new adventures with a refreshed purpose. We are energized and eager to come together in the great American city, Chicago, to advance the great profession of optometry! Optometry’s Meeting®, the 125th Annual AOA Congress and 54th Annual AOSA Conference, welcomes back friends and colleagues June 15-18 in Chicago, IL, where world-class education, networking and business opportunities will intersect in one unforgettable experience. For the last two years, doctors, paraoptometric professionals and students have advanced despite the COVID-19 public health crisis. We have made significant progress in advocating for optometry’s priorities at the Federal and state levels, increasing awareness of our profession across national audiences and providing the resources members need. Now, we are poised for greater opportunities. Optometry’s Meeting will deliver world-class learning, networking and business solutions that will power your practice and patient health. From courses offering office-based surgical content to practical guidance on everything from building a medical contact lens practice to preparing financially for any stage of your career, Optometry’s Meeting 2022 is packed with discovery, interdisciplinary collaboration and experiential opportunities. So come join us in Chicago – home to world-renowned museums, restaurants, cityscapes and adventures – and experience the exceptional continuing education (CE) and professional development, as well as the distinguished networking opportunities that attendees have come to expect.
