(Ages 16+) Lena will share some of her traditional cookie recipes and cooking traditions.
These cookies are great for gift giving or for the family to enjoy. First evening will be a
demonstration of dough preparation and handling, plus preparation of the filling. Ingredient

(Ages 6 to 12) Join Sean Temple, head coach for Riverdale High School, and receive instruction in hitting,
bunting, throwing, catching, pitching, defense, rules & strategy. Includes individual/group skills & game situations.
In the event of inclement weather, camp will be held in the gym - tennis shoes will be necessary. Gloves, sun-
screen, hat & drink are needed daily.

crafts. This camp is geared towards the exciting final day performance for friends & family.

(Ages 6 to 12) This all-skills volleyball camp will excite players about the fun competition of volleyball & the im-
portance of team play. Players will develop fundamental skills including: serving, passing, setting & hitting. The
camp will be conducted by Jessica Chatellier, Head Coach for Dominican High School & Ashlee Juhas, Assis-

Structured activities are from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Fee includes secondary medical reimbursement insurance, field trips & one camp shirt per summer.
Supplies needed: lunch, drink & snacks. A supply list will be given to kinder parents on the first day.

3. To guarantee your child’s place in camp, all fees per camper per session must be paid in FULL! Make checks
payable to JPRD ($20 NSF charge). Visa, Mastercard, & Discover accepted.
4. Birth certificate required for ALL campers. Original certificate will be verified during office hours: Monday - Friday,
8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Falsified or incomplete registration will result in rejection of your application or dismissal from
camp with no refund.
5. Refunds/transfers must be requested one week prior to camp start date. NO CASH REFUNDS. Check will be
mailed in approx 3-4 weeks. Debits are made to accounts for credit card payments. A 10% service charge will
be levied.

WHAT ARE SPECIAL POPULATION PROGRAMS?
Parks and Recreation offers recreational activities for people with developmental disabilities. The goals are to improve or main-
tain physical, cognitive, emotional & social functions and promote healthy, independent leisure lifestyles. Year-round programs
are offered in classes, events, clubs, & camps. The programs stress choice, involvement & self-direction while offering recre-
ational experiences, new challenges & socializing in a safe environment. To ensure safety & enjoyment of others in recreational
programs, participants are expected to display appropriate behavior. The success of all recreation activities depends not only on good
planning & instruction, but the conduct of participants. Appropriate behavior includes the ability to follow instructions & interact with others
in a socially acceptable manner. Must be mobility capable & able to attend to personal needs. It is to be noted that the annual, non-
refundable secondary medical reimbursement insurance fee of $7 must be paid before participating in any of these programs.
