BACKGROUND
Company History
Started to establish solar companies in the Northern Cape since 2009. After 15 Years of installing off
grid systems as well as solar pump systems for the Farmers. In the Northern Cape it came to mind to
expand his horizon to the Gauteng, Limpopo, North West, Free state.
The 7 Year drought also had to do with his decision and he decided to sell his current shares and open
a brand new company, but this time to assist Farmer as well as the homeowners in the City. There for
the name Farmer City Solar.

THE DIRECTOR
Johan Thuynsma decided to relocate from the Northern Cape to Gauteng where he
was a Director of a Solar Company for more than 18 Years.
As there were so many queries in the Gauteng and Limpopo areas, he decided to
open Farmer City Solar in 2018.
