Halloween Safety – “Missing Child”
In the event that a child gets separated from their parent or guardian the
following actions will be taken to ensure they are reunited
If a child doesn’t know their address or surroundings a mobile patrol will be
dispatched to the child’s location
The patrol will escort the child in the patrol vehicle to the designated rally point
The child will remain there under the supervision of the patrol until their parent
or guardian arrives
During the process an attempt will be made by the Desk to locate/contact the
child’s sponsor via telephone
Please share to inform parents of the rally points and actions that will be taken

Halloween Safety cont.
Trick or Treating will be limited to the exterior of buildings. Participants are
prohibited from entering stairwells in multi-family dwellings
Community leaders, housing area leaders, Soldiers, and civilians are
encouraged to increase their visibility and vigilance during the Trick or Treating,
Haunted House, and Trunk or Treat activities
Cross the street at corners, using traffic signals and crosswalks. Look left, right
and left again when crossing and keep looking as you cross
Always walk on sidewalks or paths. If no sidewalks, walk facing traffic as far to
the left as possible
Decorate costumes and bags with reflective tape or stickers
Choose face paint instead of masks, which can obstruct a child’s vision
Have kids carry glow sticks or flashlights to be seen by drivers
PLEASE DRIVE CAREFULLY THROUGH THE NEIGHBORHOODS!!

Black Friday through Christmas Eve

holiday spirit by partnering with the Army & Air
Force Exchange Service to provide gift wrapping
services for military shoppers this season.
• The Wiesbaden Exchange will provide wrapping
paper, tape and other supplies for volunteer
groups to set up their stations. Groups can seek
donations in exchange for gift wrapping.

● Membership in the WCSC is open to all U.S. ID cardholders in the
Wiesbaden community - NOT just spouses. We warmly welcome single
soldiers, active duty, retirees, civilians, and spouses here in the
Wiesbaden area.
● Weeks into the new WCSC fiscal year, we’ve already distributed more
than $13,000 to our community with Grants and Gifts. Last year, the
WCSC gave more than $170,000 back to our community in
scholarships and welfare grants.

at the Thrift Shop! Our next Sip and Sort is TONIGHT at the Shop.
