APRIL 2021 MONTHLY NEWSLETTER CLUBHOUSE NEWS Hi there, Clubhouse family and friends. Welcome to our April newsletter. We hope you had a lovely easter and ate plenty of chocolate! A lot has been happening at Clubhouse over the last month withe lots more coming up! We've had fun outings and made new friends, held a very successful fundraiser BBQ, we've seen action aplenty with our groups, had lots of laughs and many a good conversation over delicious cups of coffee! The fishing group brought in a good haul of 10 whiting, well done! The mens and womens groups have been having a blast (as always) and the gardening group will soon reap the rewards of hard work on the veggie garden, and not to forget all the arts and crafts and usual good times going on at Clubhouse!! CONGRATULATIONS ON THE CALENDAR The Appreciation Award this month Our monthly clubhouse calendar is goes to Darren for all his hard work created with the members and contributions in Clubhouse. CLUBHOUSE OUTINGS The reintroduction of clubhouse outings was a huge hit last month. We visited the Wollongong Botanical Gardens to see the sculptures and met up with some of the West St group. We enjoyed a visit to West St for their Recovery Day, where members shared their stories and enjoyed a lovely day of crafts, tennis, lunch and much more. Berry was next on the list with a visit to the gorgeous historical town and some of its iconic landmarks. CREATIVE CORNER At Clubhouse we always encourage expression through arts and crafts. If this is something you would like to do more of we have a group starting up soon on Thursday evenings. Let a staff member know if you'd like to join.
