Grip Control* adapts the traction of the vehicle’s
front wheels according to the terrain you’re on.
You can allow Grip Control to act automatically
via the standard mode or you can select one of
the five modes (Standard, Snow, Mud, Sand,
ESP OFF) yourself. Thanks to this system, New
Citroën C3 Aircross SUV can venture out on all
types of road, whatever the conditions. Working
with the Grip Control*, Hill Descent Assist holds
the vehicle at a low speed, to keep you in control it travels downhill, when moving forwards as well
and safe even on steep slopes. It helps reduce as in reverse. This feature is activated by pressing
the risk of the vehicle slipping or running away as the dedicated button on the centre console.

economical and efficient engines.
EFFICIENT
The PureTech 110 S&S and PureTech 130 S&S naturally
aspirated and turbocharged engines belong to the PureTech
family of petrol engines. This range of engines reduces fuel
consumption and CO2 emissions, while at the same time being
even more lively than the previous generation.
The BlueHDi 110 S&S engine benefits from technology that
continuously processes the engine’s pollutant emissions, thus
complying with Euro 6 standards. The exhaust system has three
emission-control components: the oxidation catalyst, the additive
particle filter (which processes the particles by number and by
mass), and the Selective Catalytic Reduction system, positioned
upstream of the filter, which reduces the nitrogen oxides (NOx)
emitted by the engine.
