CITREP+ Course/ Certification Endorsement 1. Types of Course and Certification Certifiable Programme ▪ Course should lead to industry recognized certifications ▪ Appointment by Certificate Awarding Body (CAB) 2. Duration of course and Exam Completion ▪ Minimum 21 training hours (excluding breaks + examinations), maximum 12 months ▪ At least 7 hours face-to-face time (includes in-person classroom training and/or online synchronous training) 9
2-stage Course Evaluation 1st Stage – SF for ICT Course Mapping 2nd Stage - Course Endorsement Course Mapping Requirement a. Course should lead to industry recognized certifications, i.e. Certifiable Programme ▪ Supported with letter of authorization issued by the corresponding Certificate Awarding Body (CAB) b. Course support skills acquisition and aligned to available SF for ICT Job Role(s) with minimum one Technical Skills and Competencies (TSCs) for each selected job role c. Course is within supported skill categories d. Duration of course ▪ At least a total of 21 training hours (excluding breaks and examinations) and not exceeding 12 months for completion ▪ At least 7 hours face-to-face training (not limited to classroom-based learning) e. 2-stage Course Evaluation: 2nd Stage 1st Stage – SF for ICT Course Mapping 2nd Stage - Course Endorsement Becoming a CITREP+ Partner • A legally registered business entity in Singapore with ACRA • Established Track Record (minimum 2 prior runs of course seeking endorsement) • Sound Financial Health • Management & Support Team (For CITREP related matters) • Trainers must have at least 2 years of relevant industry and/or training experience • Facilities & Equipment. Each class size (for synchronous online learning) shall not exceed 25 trainees. Refer to online CITREP+ Guides – CITREP+ CP Endorsement Guide (1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022) 13
2-stage Course Evaluation: 2nd Stage Online/ Blended Learning Course Requirement Requirements a. Demonstrate system capability to authenticate learners' identities; b. Demonstrate system capability to validate attendance records & track learners' progress. i. For synchronous learning, CP must be able to track learners’ attendance. (e.g system log-in and log-out records for video conference classes) ii. For asynchronous learning, CP must ensure that there is a Learning Management System (LMS) in place to track completion progress of the online modules (e.g. screenshot of completion progress for online modules). c. Trainer support must be available for trainee who need further clarification or assistance; and d. Technical helpdesk support must be available. Highlights on Programme Updates Whole-of-Government (WOG) Effort to Streamline Continuous Education Training (CET) Grants Across Government Agencies(1/2) ▪ All Government CET grant schemes will progressively be migrated to Training Partners (TP) Gateway and Training Grant System (TGS) from 2021 onwards ▪ Funding guidelines and parameters would be aligned across all Government CET grants 16

Highlights on Programme Updates Conduct of Approved CITREP+ Course(s) 1. Compliance to IMDA-approved Enrolment Quota for each Course Provider under FY21 programme term ▪ To facilitate CP in planning ahead for FY21 programme term, CP to check in with IMDA on indicative enrolment quota at the first course application. Indicative enrolment quota will be released if CP do not complete course application submission within the stipulated expiry date. ▪ CP to size pipeline course(s) based on IMDA-approved enrolment quota and provide pipeline course(s) with enrolment projections for the new programme term prior to CP onboarding. Email notifications will be provided on IMDA-approved enrolment quota upon endorsement of course. ▪ CP is subjected to termination or suspension of courses for proceeding with enrolment in excess of IMDA- approved quota without prior consent ▪ CP may seek prior IMDA’s consent for quota adjustment in excess of IMDA-approved quota, supported by FY21 programme term track record ▪ To encourage responsible use of IMDA-approved enrolment quota, quota setting in subsequent programme term will take into consideration current term enrolment quota utilisation. 2. To ensure quality in training, the class size for synchronous online learning shall not exceed 25 trainees 3. CPs are reminded to cater course primarily to professionals, to align with policy intent of building a strong core of local ICT workforce to support growth of Digital Economy 19

[Reminder] Promotion of approved courses should be focused on skills acquisition and not on the basis of benefitting from the grant allowance 2. [New] To guide trainees on selection of courses based on skills to be acquired, Course Provider to inform the approved TSCs for course on course provider’s website. 20

For course transiting from FY19/20 programme term (1 Apr 2019 to 31 Mar 2021), course evaluation by Skills Expert Panel (SEP) not required if all the conditions below are met: i. No material changes to course curriculum/ materials submitted for FY19/20 programme term; ii. No changes to Technical Skills Competency (TSC) and Proficiency Level (PL) approved under FY19/20 programme; iii. Approved TSCs in FY19/20 programme term available in refreshed Sf for ICT and has not changed; and iv. No change to SFw for ICT b. For new course application, course evaluation by SEP is required c. CITREP+ Workflow : Course Endorsement (1/3) 2-stage evaluation Course Mapping Course Endorsement Trainee Enrolment Claim Application Submit course endorsement application via ICMS Requirements Highlights on Documentations A legally registered business entity in ACRA Bizfile (dated no more than 6 months from application date) Singapore with ACRA Sound Financial Health Company’s latest audited annual report or management’s financial reports (dated no more than 12 months from application date). Refer to Appendix D for more details Establishment & Track Record (minimum • Proof of actual training conducted.
