Why Choose Churnet Valley ?
Most companies now selling to trade are designing their products and outsourcing the
manufacture to factories in the Middle East and Europe. Here at Churnet Valley every
piece of timber is cut, sanded, shaped drilled and fixed together by local craftsmen. We
continue to contribute to our economy and the people in it by creating and sustaining
jobs in our UK factory and supplying the best product on the market to our customers.
Our products are strong, sturdy and chunky, yet elegant enough to look superb in any gar-
den setting. We believe our products are pound for pound the best handmade wooden
products available within their price range.
We have also designed our products for ease of assembly so there are as few pieces for
the customer to put together as possible. Our chairs and benches come fully assembled
and most other products come part assembled, meaning less effort is needed from your
staff or your customers to put them together.
Our team is small but dedicated, we are still family run as the business is owned by two
brothers, myself Luke and my brother Edwin. Our diligent office staff are friendly, helpful
and highly trained in customer service so you will always be treated with the due care and
respect we believe our customers deserve.

The Churnet Valley Furniture story
Churnet Valley Garden Furniture is an up and coming family business who have been man-
ufacturing wooden garden products for over 10 years, starting as a father son operation in
2010 working from a garden shed making timber products for friends and family, and ex-
hibiting at small local garden shows.
How we progressed
We came on in leaps and bounds each year due to the sheer sales that our products pro-
duced, we are confident that our products are the best available on the UK market today
within the price bracket that they are offered at. We found that we simply could not keep
up with the demand by retailing alone, so decided to make things more efficient and start
supplying to trade. We made some real progress when we exhibited in Glee 2018 where
we were inundated with orders.
3 years later, we have relocated to our new factory, created more jobs, and increased our
infrastructure to enable us to keep up with the ever-growing demand for our products.
What made us a success
We spotted a gap in the market for ‘proper’ garden furniture, meaning heavy duty, thick
sections of quality timber, screwed together instead of nailed, pressure treated to User
class-3, and a product that offers a whole lot of timber for the customer at a reasonable
price and a product that is going to stand the test of time.

How Dropship works
• Take orders from your show stock or on your website and have these items directly
delivered to the customer by pallet courier straight from our workshop, so you never
have to handle the goods .
• We aim to deliver all dropship orders within 7-14 days
• Dropship charges do vary depending on item please check your price list.
