WHY PUDM & WHY RILEY? • PUDM – Purdue's largest student run philanthropic organization • Passionate students working year round to raise money for Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis • You get to be a part of something bigger than yourself & Purdue • Riley sees over 300,000 children a year • Riley is nationally ranked in cancer treatment programs (as well as all 10 pediatric specialties!)

Accounting Chair Positions Chairs (3) • Accounting Chairs (x3) – Will help with the running of deposits, converting change, and all managerial items regarding money that is coming into the organization. Will help with setting up canning locations, both locally and for Bucket Blitz. Will support the HSMR committee and developing organizational culture in the Spring semester 9
Fundraising Chair Positions Chairs (3) • Fundraising Challenges Chair – works alongside the Fundraising Executive in brainstorming, planning, and executing fundraising challenges PUDM holds throughout the year • Fundraising Education Chair -works alongside the Fundraising Executive to implement fundraising education for all members of PUDM by going to different committee meetings • Fundraising Development Chair – researches national Dance Marathon best practices in fundraising to find ways that PUDM can improve our fundraising and fundraising experience, assists the Fundraising Executive in developing PUDM’s Fundraising culture 11
HIGH SCHOOL MARATHON RELATIONS Sydney Clifford
HSMR Chair Positions Chairs (2) • High School Marathon Management Chair – Will work with high schools to help plan & organize their marathons, whether it is virtual or in person • HSMR Secretary Chair – Will help to compile data and track progress from Elementary and High School programs. 13

Sponsorships In-Kind Chair Positions Chairs (3) • In-Kind Logistics Chair – Will help to plan and manage all food/catering partners for Marathon. • In-Kind Relations Chair – Will organize the flow of contacting business. Will assist with pitching large in-kind asks and maintaining contact with businesses. • In-Kind Strategy Chair – Will plan all Skip-A-Meals. Will help to decide which businesses to contact, both for Marathon food and Skip- A-Meals and assist in contacting businesses. 15

CAMPUS RELATIONS Joel Alvarez
Campus Relations Chair Positions Chairs (3) • Athletics and Residential Outreach Chair -building and maintaining relationships with the various athletic teams, sports clubs, residence hall association, and resident hall clubs on campus • International Outreach Chair –building and maintaining relationships with international organizations and multicultural centers on Purdue’s campus, have a large focus on producing an innovative recruitment strategy appealing specifically to the international population • Student Resource Outreach Chair – building and maintaining relationships with the various resource centers and student organizations on campus, interacting with organizations that are within these broader programs and in the fall will focus on the recruitment of these organizations 20
FRATERNITY, SORORITY, COOPERATIVE LIFE OUTREACH Basie Andoh
FSCL Outreach Chair Positions Chairs (3) • FSCL Outreach Chair – Will be liaisons between PUDM and the Fraternities, Sororities, and Cooperative at Purdue to increase involvement, communicate with the contacts in each house • FSCL Communications Chair- communicates the goals of the FSCL committee to the Fraternities, Sororities, and Cooperative life students, use the PUDM FSCL Instagram to spread news about PUDM to Greek life chapters and update the all Greek PUDM GroupMe, communicating with Greek alumni • FSCL Engagement Chair - focus on connecting committee members with FSCL outreach and their houses, work closely with committee members to provide the tools and resources needed to engage their houses and to connect them to PUDM 22
PRODUCTIONS DESIGN Emily Muller
Productions Design Chair Positions Chairs (3) • Merchandise Chair- responsible for designing and producing all merchandise related to PUDM 2021, designing each garment, collaborating with our Merchandise supplier, Freckles, and keeping track of deadlines/orders • Content Creation Chair (x2) - Will create flyers and graphics for publications to promote PUDM. Will take photos at all PUDM events. 24
PRODUCTIONS MEDIA Danielle Olson
Productions Media Chair Positions Chairs (4) • Photography Chair- takes photos at PUDM events that can be used for graphics, promotional materials, B-roll, etc, be able to use a camera to take quality photos, brainstorm ideas of how to use different photos • Videography Chair (x2) – Will plan, organize, and take video footage at all PUDM events, for promotional videos and otherwise. • Technology Management Chair - Will prepare live video service for PUDM 2021. Will assist with website changes and will be in charge of technology use in productions and promotions all year long. 26
PUBLIC RELATIONS Will Napier
Public Relations Chair Positions Chairs (3) • Community Strategy Chair - work with media outlets (radio stations, newspapers, new stations, etc.) to promote PUDM and PUDM events, strategize how to involve the greater Lafayette community in efforts for Riley • Social Media Coordination Chiar-outline the social media plan for the year and brainstorm new content ideas, create content tailored to each social media platform, have awareness of the user base of each platform, manage social media accounts with PR Exec • Recruitment Strategy Chair– responsible for planning and implementing PUDM’s yearlong recruitment plan, organize chalking, flyering, and sheet signs throughout campus, devise and manage promotional tables on campus 28

MORALE Olivia Coughlin
Morale Chair Positions Chairs (3) • Leadership Development Chair – Will train Color Captains throughout the year on logistics and flow of Marathon, as well as how they can inspire others. • Membership Management Chair – Will help to organize Morale committee through attendance tracking, meeting preparation, and keeping members accountable all year long. • Membership Engagement Chair – Will prepare members of Morale committee with tools to communicate with and engage participants of PUDM. 31
LOGISTICS Jackson Arnett
Logistics Chair Positions Chairs (3) • Entertainment Relations Chair – Will secure and manage entertainment acts that perform at Marathon. • Event Operations Chair – Will organize slideshows, videos to show, and music playlist for the Marathon. Will manage front of house display screens at Marathon. • Logistics Coordination Chair – Will organize the flow of people at Marathon and the layout. Will help to create Marathon timeline. 33

Riley Relations Chair Positions Chairs (3) • Riley Relations Programming Chair – Will plan any special events for Riley families. Will invite families to PUDM events. • Family Relations Chair – Will get to know our Riley kids and families. Will pair Riley kids with committee members. • Riley Relations Strategy Chair – Will plan the celebration of our Riley kids and families at Marathon. Work on Family Captain Program. 35

Development Chair Positions Chairs (3) • Hospital Relations Chair – Engage Riley Hospital for Children and CMN Hospitals in PUDM to develop hospital relations, assist in committee member placement, and FTK gym • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair – researching and reaching out to DEI resources at Purdue to help implement DEI principles into PUDM, assist in committee member placement, and FTK gym • New Member Engagement – Focusing on improving and running the conductor and champion programs, assist in committee member placement, and FTK gym 40
PARTICIPANT COMMUNICATIONS Madalyn Jacobs
Participant Communications Chair Positions Chairs (2) • Participant Relations Chair – Will manage communication with participants to maximize engagement and participation. • Team Captain Relations Chair - Will manage communication with Team Captains. Will educate Team Captains on our passion and how to ignite that passion throughout their teams. 42

External Stewardship Chair Positions Chairs (2) • Alumni Relations Chair – Will work with PUDMA to strengthen and enrich alumni relations. • Donor Relations Chair – Will create relationships with donors of PUDM to show the difference they are making to us and our kids. 46
