Wedding Brochure for 2019 & 2020 THE COMPLETE WEDDING PACKAGE Chateau de Lerse is an elegantly renovated 15th century home, which offers a mix of modern and antique furnishings within. Situated 30 minutes from the French capital of the comic strip and designated City of Art and History, Angoulême. Set amidst 105 hectares of gently undulating hills and sleeping a total of up to 30 guests throughout the chateau and high-end Safari tents, it offers a simply stunning place to stay and in which to hold your wedding, with its unique covered courtyard overlooking the wonderful countryside with an integral evening bar. Here is a place where beautiful memories are made.
The chateau has four comfortably appointed spacious guest rooms, which are located on the first floor and feature king- size beds with en-suite bathrooms. 2 additional bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are being completed by April 2019. Sleeping 12 guests. On the ground floor are three tastefully decorated living rooms. The gîte accommodates 6 people, in considerable comfort, within a single-storey house which has two bedrooms, a large living area, kitchen and fireplace. It has a lovely shaded terrace equipped with garden furniture and barbecue. The Pigeonnier sleeps 2 and is a quirky original self -contained round building adjacent to the chateau and pool with its own terrace with tables and chairs overlooking the gently rolling Charente countryside. Wonderful for small ceremonies. The Safari campsite is set around the lake with a pontoon. Housing 5 safari tents to complete the glamping experience for up to 10 guests. Supplied with proper beds, linen, rugs, mirrors and chairs, and a separate fully equipped shower room & toilet plus 2 other toilets. The tents are hired individually and not included in the chateau rental fee. There is an outdoor heated swimming pool for guests to use opposite the chateau with a sun terrace and sun beds. Once booked, we invite couples to stay for a night, free of charge, prior to the wedding to get to know the chateau and staff whilst sampling the wedding menu and wines of the region. T&C’s apply. Because we take the stress out of planning your wedding and … • Our unique canopy covered courtyard means that you can dine and be entertained, protected from the elements without losing the feeling of being outside with an amazing view across the valley. • We can cater for up to 120 guests onsite on the wedding day. • We provide all the tables, chairs, linens, crockery, cutlery and glasses for 6€ per person. • We have our own in-house chef with a variety of menu options. • We offer specially chosen wines and beer on a sale or return basis. We do not charge corkage. • We supply a full wedding planning service, that is obligatory. We source your suppliers and do all liaison for you. • Integral courtyard bar for evening drinks full of sparkly lights and drink, of course! 2
