17 BIG DOG WALK HP OCT 9:30am – 3pm You and your dog will have the best day out meeting new four-legged friends, as you discover the stunning grounds of Hylands Estate. On the day of your walk, you have the choice of a 2km, 5km or 10km walk route and you can stop off along the way for a drink and a rest. There will be five start times, choose between 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30. Once the walk is completed, you can explore the Event Village. Your dog can enjoy taking part in the Fun Dog Show, leaping, and weaving around the Dogstacle course or you can even have a pawtrait taken together! £10.50 per adult, children and dogs are free. 26 ENLIGHTENED LIGHT TRAIL HP NOV Enlightened returns to Hylands Estate TO with a new longer route and more magical 30 lighting installations for 2021. The grounds will NOV be transformed into an illuminated light trail for visitors to enjoy with all the family. 06 Christmas Soiree - An Elementary DEC Christmas HH 07 The Cameo Players are celebrating their DEC return to Hylands House this Christmas with a sparkling new show. It will include all the popular 08 features of previous years – the crackers, the DEC music, the bad jokes, the madcap melodrama. This year there will be some notable guests attending – Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson! Come and enjoy an Edwardian Christmas with the Cameo Players and get the festive season off to a fine start. T H E STA B L E S The Stables, at the heart of the Estate, offers a welcoming café, information point, Hylands Artist Studios, and second-hand bookshop. It is the perfect place to enjoy with family and friends. HYLANDS ARTIST STUDIOS ST Public facing studios open Wednesday – Friday 10am – 3pm All Studios will be open on our Open Estate Days! The Hylands Artist Studios are located in The Stables on the ground floor and first floor. Visitors can meet our resident artists and designers and view their work as they create unique and bespoke pieces in their studios. The resident artists and makers who not only create their own original work for purchase but also work to commission, run demonstrations, workshops and exhibitions. BOOK SHOP ST The second-hand bookshop is managed entirely by volunteers of the Friends of Hylands House. The Bookshop carries a good stock of second-hand books covering many subjects. The Friends rely on donations of all types of books which may be delivered and left at the Bookshop.
