First, a word from our past customers
I searched for months for a suitable property to host a house party for my birthday. I looked at castles
in Scotland to villas in the South of France – but now I now think the luck of the Irish was with me when
by chance I stumbled across Ballinacurra House. What a find! After a phone call to Des I decided to
take a chance and booked the property without prior viewing. This could have proved a disaster but
ended up being the best decision I ever made. Ballinacurra House is wonderful – the grounds are
stunning and the food is excellent. But this was not what made my birthday party such a success. It
was Lisa and Des’ attention to detail, the wonderful staff who addressed you by name and were
always there when you needed them. It was being in a beautiful house that felt like your home and
the fact that all my family and friends (who are very well travelled) fell madly in love with the place and
are still talking about it. Thank you so much for your superb hospitality.

By far the star of the show of our trip around Ireland was Ballinacurra House. The best place anyone has
ever stayed at – EVER. Beautiful inside and out, huge rooms, and stunning grounds and playground
that the kids played on for hours. But the stars were the entire staff at Ballinacurra – who go beyond
normal servicing and are unbelievable. We decided to eat three dinners at the house and it was by far
the best food we had for our entire trip in Ireland. If I were you, I would recommend to everybody to
have their meals at Ballinacurra – this was a Grand Slam Dream Come True.

Ballinacurra House is let complete with its own staff, on an exclusive, fully
catered basis. It’s like have your very own private hotel! Our philosophy is to
work with our clients to understand what they wish to achieve and we only
ever rent the Manor House to one group at a time – you will never be sharing
with someone you do not know.
For 2020, we have 2 rental options:
Manor House only – with 14 ensuite bedrooms and all the relevant
living and activity rooms
The entire Estate – includes the Manor House as well as the 2 Estate
Cottages – which is a total of 22 ensuite bedrooms and exclusive use of
the whole property
Set within a walled garden with 10 foot high stone walls and with 40+ acres of
woodland and lawns, this estate is in a unique position to offer its guests a
‘luxury five star experience’. And as we specialise in Event Management, we
can organise and manage a full range of activities for your group by prior
arrangement, if required. The property is ideal for:
Private Groups – Dinner parties, birthdays, anniversaries, incentive travel,
family reunion or just a group of friends on holiday.
Private Golf – Golf groups, heli-golf, corporate golf days (see separate Golf
Brochure)
Private Business – Meetings, conferences, team building activities, day hire,
press launches, film location shoots, residential recording studio, etc.

WHAT’S INCLUDED ______________________________________ For 2020 we are reducing our Ballinacurra Inclusivity Fee to only €499 per booking. This covers our time to organize and plan your stay and your daily concierge service during your stay. So for this Fee plus the Rental Rate, you are getting all of the following: Accommodation in individually-designed luxurious en-suite bedrooms with flat screen televisions, luxury linen, hairdryers and complimentary toiletries. Full cooked to order breakfast and continental selection for all residents (and what’s better still – you choose the time!) Exclusive use of all entertainment rooms in the house including living rooms, library, dining room, bar, ballroom, garden room, etc House setup to your requirements Exclusive use of the croquet lawn, entertainment areas, outdoor covered area, wood-fired pizza oven, paved terrace with tables & seating, barbecue areas, walled garden fields etc Access to the forest walks, boat jetty, kayaking on the river Exclusive enjoyment of onsite outdoor activities including football, boules, crocquet, children’s playground etc Free high speed WiFi broadband throughout the whole property Free onsite car and bus parking All VAT and taxes are included (at the current rate of publishing) Advice on suppliers of entertainment, bands, transfers (taxi, limos, buses, helicopters), activities, theme parties, birthday cakes, etc (If you take our suggestions, we charge a 12.5% management fee applies to cover our time in organising and co-ordinating all the buy-ins). And the most important – fully staffed 24 hours per day with experienced, professional staff including onsite manager, housekeepers, waitresses and night porter. Numbers to Remember! 14 = Number of rooms that are included in the minimum rental 22 = Total number of ensuite bedrooms on the whole property 40 = Maximum number of singles (combination of single, twins, triples) staying on the property 44 = Maximum number of people who can sleep if all rooms are doubles/twins 55 = Maximum number of people that can sleep on the property if all rooms are occupied to full capacity (max sharing in twins, triples and quad rooms) 60 = Maximum number of people that can dine in the Ballroom 132 = Maximum number of people who can dine in the Garden Room 180 = Maximum number of people for dining

ACTIVITIES IN AND AROUND KINSALE ______________________ Apart from being one of Ireland’s premier tourist towns and only 20 minutes from Ireland’s second city Cork, there is a wealth of activities available in and around Kinsale. These range from golf, horseriding, tours, cycling, hiking and a wide variety of water based activities both on rivers and sea including fishing, sailing, kayaking and so on. We have a full list of activities which we can send you by request. Within a 45 minute drive of Ballinacurra House, there are 5 golf courses which would suit all levels of players from novice to professional. The most famous and a must- play is The Old Head Golf Course which is only 20 minutes away and is one of the most notable world-class facilities in the world. DINING OPTIONS _______________________________________ Everybody raves about our food! We have a Michelin-trained Head Chef David Rice who has created a range of both formal and casual menus to choose from including: Canapes Lunches Antipasti Platters Morning or Afternoon Tea Children’s menus Casual ‘One Pot’ meals Homemade Pizza Parties Barbecues Asian Street Food Mexican Burrito Bars Casual ‘Bistro’ style Meals Formal Dining Menus And if you love our food (and know that you will) why not join David in our onsite cookery school for a lesson in how it’s done! Beverages A full wine list is available on request. All beverages are charged on consumption and are market rate prices. Formal Dining Rooms – Garden Room for larger group; Dining Room for small groups – and our spectacular Ballroom for up to 50 people TERMS & CONDITIONS__________________________________ The number of people staying in the house must reflect the size of your group. That is, we require all 22 bedrooms to be taken if your group is more than 44 people. If your group is less than 44 people, then you only need take the number of rooms needed to accommodate your group - but this is subject to the minimum rental conditions. Please contact us with details of your group, dates etc and we will advise you.
The minimum rental is the Main House (14 bedrooms) which sleeps up to 28 guests
in 14 ensuite bedrooms.
With large bedrooms, the Main House can actually sleep up to 8 extra people if
they are willing to share. The supplement prices for the extra guests are:
o €75 per person per night if aged 12 years and over
o €45 per child per night if aged 4 – 11 years
o Children under 3 are FOC
As the hosts, you are guaranteeing the full house rate, but you advise us how
much your guests are paying and then we collect this on your behalf to offset the
house rate.
Food & beverage charged on consumption.
We also do seasonal rates (November to April), so send us your group's
details/dates and we will provide you with a quotation.
We have a full complement of in-house dining options (see separate heading)
including your own dedicated chef, waitressing staff, barman etc. We work with
you before you arrive to plan out your whole trip including the dining options.
The deposit is non-refundable as it secures your date and starts the planning
process. See our Terms & Conditions on our website, as payment of this Booking
Confirmation Deposit constitutes acceptance.
Corkage is not allowed.
No food and drink to be brought onto the property.
Check-in Time is 2:00 pm
Check-out Time is 11:00 am.
