Study level options Completing a VET course provides a great pathway into your career or further study, with many undergraduate courses available to students who have completed a certificate IV or higher. Certificate II Courses are introductory level courses. Certificate III Courses at this level provide job-ready qualifications and apprenticeship pathways. Certificate IV Courses are recognised as first level qualifications to move into supervisory positions and roles in a workplace, or as a pathway for further learning. Successful achievement at this level may provide up to 40 credit points towards an undergraduate Higher Education award in the same field or discipline. Diploma Diplomas are seen as high-level VET qualifications. Successful achievement at this level may provide up to 80 credit points towards an undergraduate Higher Education award in the same field or discipline. How much does it cost to live in Australia? The cost of living in Australia varies from city to city, and students should not expect to fund their studies or living costs in Australia through part-time employment only.
