LADIES’ PRESIDENT’S PRESIDENT’S REPORT REPORT How quickly the year is passing. We were privileged in March to have Joan Brotherton come to our club and hosted a seminar on Marking, Measuring and Umpiring. Many thanks to Joan for sharing her knowledge and expertise with us. Some of our ladies have indicated that they will sign up to do the Marking Course as a start. In April we have our Past Presidents and Life Members Day and also we will be hosting the Gateway District Singles. MANY HAPPY Our Championship Pairs was won by Gail Pratt and Cathy Lewis in a hotly contested final against Val Chappel and Lorry Hurley. The skill RETURNS! level in this match was exceptional. CLUB MANAGER’S REPORT Hi everyone, BISTRO HOURS Trivia commenced in March and it was a big hit. Trivia is on the first Friday of each month, starting at 12:00pm. We had to bring April’s date forward to March 26th as the first Friday in LUNCH: April is a holiday (Good Friday). The next one will be Friday 7th May. We Tuesday – Sunday hope you can join us and have some fun. 11am – 2pm Our Bistro will also be serving dinner on Thursday nights again from DINNER: April 15. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 5pm – 8pm We have a regular function on Thursday nights, so we thought it might be a good opportunity to open for dinner. You will be able to come out All-day barista available for dinner Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Lunch is also available Tuesday to Sunday.
