Partnerships and new 2018 initiatives 2018 saw a number of new partnerships and initiatives across the country, 2018 including: NZME - Educational Media /JETmag Once again, the partnership with NZME provided an extended reach into our audience with both preliminary promotional support and on site activation. REVIEW NZME - 91ZM Activation Teams In addition to the paid advertising schedule across 91ZM, Newstalk ZB and The Hits, the 91ZM crews were on site at all 4 expos with teams to help create an exciting and engaging event. NZME - YUDU. YUDU were on site for the first time, profiling their new careers platform and supporting the NZME team with the JET hanger presentations and awareness of YUDU activities. With the increased engagement and involvement in the JET Hanger seminar presentations and on site activity, the NZME teams were key in providing engaging and informative careers support. This partnership is set to continue in 2019 Auckland JOBFEST The Auckland Careers Expo expanded the offering this year to encompass the Auckland Councils’ annual ‘JOBFEST’ expo. This occupied the upstairs areas on the Thursday and Thursday evening. With over 40 employers presenting job opportunities and engagement for young people. The primary targeted group for the JOBFEST is the group of young people recently departed from school, but not yet engaging in further education or employment. With record numbers attending this JOBFEST, the combination with the NZ Careers expo was highly successful as a partnership. The cross over of student and adult visitors provided for a greater level of reach and engagement for both the JOBFEST and the Careers Expo. While 2018 was a pilot, this successful partnership looks set to continue for 2019 and beyond, providing greater value and exposure for all involved.
