HELLO CARDINAL FAMILIES,
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year. I want to introduce
myself, my name is Shaun Roderick, and I'm honored to be the
new Principal at Clear Lake High School. Two years ago, I
joined the Cardinal community as your Assistant Principal; I
immediately felt welcomed and part of the Cardinal family. It is
exciting and humbling to be in this new position. I look forward
to carrying on the strong traditions of CLHS while creating new
ones. Our students are truly the best, and I personally cannot
wait to share their excellence with the rest of the county. I appreciate all the warm welcomes
and support I have already received, and if we have not met yet, please stop by or give me a
call; I would like to meet you.

I want to share how excited we are here at CLHS to have students back on campus. I
appreciate the commitment and dedication that our Clear Lake High School community
extended to one another over the past 18 months. Now, we move forward with re-engaging,
reconnecting, and sharing our Cardinal Pride!

As we move forward this year, please note some of the following information. As always, if
you have any questions, please feel free to call the high school office at 262-3010.

What I need to know:

  1. The first day of school is August 11, 2021.
  2. CLHS will be open for in-person instruction 5 days a week.
  3. Students will be required to wear a mask indoors.
  4. Outdoor activities will not require masks.
  5. High School activities will occur; please look for more information to follow.
  6. Safety protocols will be in place to keep staff and students healthy and safe.

 Welcome, Ms. Noisant, who is
 coming to us from TMS. She
 will be working alongside Ms.

 are excited to have Ms. Noisant

MORE INFORMATION
LUSD is excited to host a district-wide Back to School Night.
Please visit us on August 10th with all of your Back to School
questions. Dinner will be served from 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm. CLHS
staff will be on-site ready to answer all your questions from
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Please take a look at the following details:

  1. Schedules will be available for pick-up.
  2. Student council members will be hosting campus tours for
    all incoming new students and students we did not get the
    chance to meet last year. Please stop by; we would love to
    show you around our school.
  3. Classrooms will be open, stop by and meet your teachers!
  4. Counselors will be on-site to answer questions.
