PLAN
The following slides are the Fall Opening Plan based on current
guidance from the CDC, IDPH, and ISBE that was announced on July 9,
2021. We wanted to provide an update to the Board and community as
soon as possible. Due to the timing, we still have parent groups, staff
groups, and administrator groups with whom to discuss the plan. We
are also in discussion with our attorneys, insurance carrier, local
superintendents, and the local health department.

                                                                          4

Quarantine and Isolation
● Fully vaccinated and asymptomatic persons are not required to
quarantine if named as a close contact to a known case of COVID-19,
which is consistent with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC) and Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) guidance.
Individuals should self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days after their last
exposure to the case during the case’s infectious period.
● However, any other person (see next slide), who was within 6* feet of a
confirmed case of COVID-19 for a cumulative 15 minutes or more over
a 24-hour period during the infectious period will need to quarantine.

Instruction During Quarantine/ Isolation

Students in quarantine will receive instructional and social emotional
support based on individual needs while greatly influenced by the
courses each student is enrolled in and by what is planned in each class
at the time of the absence. Adult support will be provided.

                                                                           11
