Specialising in the CAPS curriculum, Teneo offers timetabled LIVE classes every weekday (07h45 - 13h50), delivering structured, quality education through our cutting-edge learning management system. Our amazing teachers are subject specialists from all over South Africa, and have the sole goal of making education more fun and interactive than ever before, so your kids will be excited to go to school, from the comfort and safety of home. GRADES 4 - 12 We cater from Intermediate Phase learners, all the way to Matric. All homework, assignments and projects are submitted on our system and parents are able to create an observer login to check attendance and grades. WHY TENEO SCHOOL? Attend school classes from home (or wherever you are). Our school calendar and curriculum follow that set out by the Department of Basic Education. Pupils can study in a peaceful, quality environment. Pupils are free from distractions. All live lessons are recorded, so students can catch up easily if lessons are missed. Interact with qualified teachers and peers in LIVE lessons. Online self-study material. Class replays - class sessions are recorded and available to view for each term. Collaborative project work with fellow students. Ongoing assessment, tests and exams measuring progress. All teaching, homework, exams, assessments, projects, homework, etc. are done in our Teneo learning management system. REQUIRMENTS FOR SET UP ALL YOU NEED IS A laptop or desktop computer with 1.6 Ghz + processor, 4 gigs (RAM) PLUS a webcam & microphone. Internet connection - 10 mbps+ download speed & 2mbps upload speed. 50 gigs of WIFI per student per month – Advanced LTE is available from most service providers. Latest version of Google ChromePrinter & Scanner / Back-up source is recommended. Scanner apps are available for smartphones & tablets. Need one that can create multi-page doc from multiple scanned pages. Teneo will supply Office 365 (excl. CAT and IT students).
TEXTBOOKS We make it as easy as possible to access each grades set list of textbooks. There is a link on www.teneoschool.co.za home page that will take you to the ITSI store where all our textbooks in e-Book form can be found. Textbooks can be purchased in eBook form on the ITSI website (Windows 10, MacOS, IOS or Android Device required) or as hard copies from any school supplier. *eBooks purchased through our ITSI store cannot be printed.
